ubkev Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Sportscenter just said that the Isles crowd was chanting "No means no!" at Patrick Kane tonight. That's great.
bunomatic Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Mike Commodore sticking the boot into Babcock. This is sad and/or funny. I can't decide. https://twitter.com/commie22 Proving once again why they call it TWITter.

WildCard Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Hence the "could". The 2nd half of last year wasn't so hot either. They went 18-12-3 since February last year, that's pretty good in my book.
Thwomp! Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) They went 18-12-3 since February last year, that's pretty good in my book. Thought they were worse than that. Seemed like it. Winnipeg pulled away in April. And Calgary held on. I'd still be willing to bet on a down year for the Kings. Edited October 10, 2015 by EastsideOasis
Eleven Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) Matt Hunwick wearing number 2 in Toronto is kinda weird. I kinda figured it was one of those unofficially retired numbers. Why would 2 be retired in Toronto? It's been continually in use and I can't think of a star who wore it. Edited October 10, 2015 by eleven
plenzmd1 Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Panarin looking good for the Hawks in Brooklyn That place looked goofy no? Just read up on Barcleys Center, was not designed with hockey in mind. Ice not centered, nor is scoreboard. Lot of obstructed view seats. Just looked weird when my son and I watched the 3rd and OT. just be careful buying tickets there for a Sabre game.
French Collection Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Tim Horton wore 7 in Toronto. Decent 2's were Carl Brewer, Ian Turnbull, Brian Leetch and the great Luke Schenn.
French Collection Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) Shanny, Lou and Babcock new tank commanders. I guess 50 million will help Babs overcome the pain of losing. Edited October 10, 2015 by French Collection
bunomatic Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Shanny, Lou and Babcock new tank commanders. I guess 50 million will help Babs overcome the pain of losing. Phenough is going to have a permanently wrinkled brow by the end of this season. Oh wait...
Randall Flagg Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Has Nashville always had yellow helmets at home? Eesh.
SabresBillsFan Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Babcock should have stayed in Detroit. Larkin is going to be a superstar in this league. I know is was just the Leafs but he's pretty darn good. Another Red Wing Gem not found in the top of the draft.
Randall Flagg Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 I posted this in the wrong thread: the Panthers look good.
SabresBillsFan Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 I posted this in the wrong thread: the Panthers look good. That's why Buffalo needs to pull out at least 1 win in the 3 game home stand. Games 4-5 in Florida and Tamp Bay. We could be 0-5.
Robviously Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 Has Nashville always had yellow helmets at home? Eesh. No, this is their new "Golden Saturdays" thing that they just started. It's brutal and wrecks a pretty cool uniform.
Randall Flagg Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 No, this is their new "Golden Saturdays" thing that they just started. It's brutal and wrecks a pretty cool uniform. Ah, thanks for the info. I hope they stop it.

Doohicksie Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 Yeah they waited all the way to 15th overall to pick him. Also realize that they're plugging him into a line that was already very good with excellent chemistry.... and he happened to click with them. And the whole Red Wings team has a fully functional system.
Sabres Fan in NS Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 Just thought I'd throw this out there. Not sure if you guys and gals south of the boarder can access the CBC Sports app for android, or (whatever it is called) for Apple devices, but the app has a special for the month of October where you can stream the western (if I recall correctly) games ... late HNIC games ... live for free.
Brawndo Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 Matt Irwin LHD on waivers from Boston. He had some good possession numbers with the Sharks and I was hoping he would sign with the Sabres. He might be worth picking up

It would be better if he played right wing, though.
3putt Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 Preseason I felt he was worth a look. From what Bahstahn media is reporting, he doesn't appear to be much of an upgrade.
