Thwomp! Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 So does he make $4 million per year in the AHL now and come off of Chicago's cap?
TrueBlueGED Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 So does he make $4 million per year in the AHL now and come off of Chicago's cap? He still makes his full salary, and the Hawks are still on the hook for most of the cap hit. Can only bury around 900k now.
inkman Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 I guess that $4mil/yr for a borderline 3rd liner wasn't such a good idea after all. He's been important in all their cup runs.
TrueBlueGED Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 He's been important in all their cup runs. If by "every" you actually mean "one of the three" then yes, that would be correct ;)
qwksndmonster Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 If by "every" you actually mean "one of the three" then yes, that would be correct ;) He typed "all" not "every" you hosier.
TrueBlueGED Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 He typed "all" not "every" you hosier. And you typed hosier you hoser.
BagBoy Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 And you typed hosier you hoser.I think "Hosier" means someone halfway Canadian and halfway from Indiana.
K-9 Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 I think "Hosier" means someone halfway Canadian and halfway from Indiana. Nah, I'm pretty sure it is one who sells stockings and socks.
inkman Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 Watching avs kings. It's been a revolving door on the sin bin for Zadorov. Wow is he playing undisciplined. .
Taro T Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 Watching avs kings. It's been a revolving door on the sin bin for Zadorov. Wow is he playing undisciplined. . Zadorov playing undisciplined? Really? Did not see that coming. /Labatt's bear.
qwksndmonster Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 And you typed hosier you hoser. I meant the band. Or wait. The guy from the band? Zadorov playing undisciplined? Really? Did not see that coming. /Labatt's bear. That's what I liked about him.
X. Benedict Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 Nah, I'm pretty sure it is one who sells stockings and socks. Yes, the guy behind the counter at the sock store. Most like likely speaking French. Twirling his mustache for the women.

Sabres Fan in NS Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 To follow up on X's post on the Kassian incident ... http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/zack-kassian-montreal-canadiens-car-crash-1.3256136 N-D-G is a great part of Montreal. Ooooffff ... two women in the car ... the 20 year old driver may have been drinking ... and an 18 year old ... Kass seems to be getting familiar with his new surroundings ... maybe he better not get to used to them.
shrader Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 Apparently Raffi Torres is under review for another cheap hit that landed him a match penalty. And stupid NHL rules state that he will not be treated as a repeat offender because he hasn't been suspended in over 18 months.
TrueBlueGED Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 James Mirtle @mirtle 8m8 minutes ago Flyers will put Andrew MacDonald on waivers at noon. $30-million deal. This is hilarious, but it's also a sign that Ron Hextall may know what he's doing, which is considerably less hilarious.
Doohicksie Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 Zadorov playing undisciplined? Really? Did not see that coming. /Labatt's bear. Need to start a meme picture series with that guy.... preferably with the snow bunnies in the hot tub at the ski lodge.
josie Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 Apologies if posted somewhere already (I didn't see it) , but the Caps just cut Derek Roy. http://www.thescore.com/news/846626

Maybe Buffalo can pick him up (and give him a job coaching hockey camps for pee wees at Harbor Center). Still... 524 points in 738 games- .71 PPG is nothing to sneeze at. If this is the end, congrats on a good career, Derek.
X. Benedict Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 He got a designated driver. Good for him. (ROR should have done the same.) better to let someone else do your drunk driving for you. :)
Huckleberry Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) http://www.thehockeynews.com/blog/how-did-daniel-sprong-go-straight-to-the-nhl-from-the-second-round-of-the-draft/#more-47964 Sprong is a guy i wanted murray to gamble on with our 31st pick. Seems like he'll get a chance to play in the penguins top 6 wich is impressive for #46 pick. Edited October 5, 2015 by Huckleberry
Doohicksie Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 better to let someone else do your drunk driving for you. :) My older brother did that to me on my first legal New Years Eve. We went to Kissing Bridge and met up with some snow bunnies down there. At the end of the night though, he made me drive us home (in his car.... never mentioned to me it was a possibility). Pretty heavy snow that night too. I made it without incident but it did teach me to make sure I could take care of myself and to not get too blitzed.
