Weave Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 Mike Weber with a bad hit from behind today. Might be a suspension coming....
That Aud Smell Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 Gretzky had no muscle protecting him?! Pssshh. These kids.
WildCard Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) One of those was Myers, and that wasn't a dirty hit from Myers because he knew no one was there to fight Crosby, it was just a typical Myers not understanding how to deliver a clean check.Really? I know one was an outdoor game, and I have no recollection of Myers delivering a significant concussion to Sid. I feel like that would have been brought up on here a lot Edited March 21, 2016 by WildCard

WildCard Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 Yeah, I'm almost positive Myers hit him after he got back from that first one, and then he was gone for a long time after None that I can find. Hedman may be who you're referring to http://espn.go.com/nhl/story/_/id/7459581/sidney-crosby-concussion

Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 So does Esa Tikkanen. MacTavish was no slouch, either. Dave Samenko was his winger for a reason, right?
WildCard Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 Peguin's are 5-0 without Malkin so far. Could they possibly be better without him in the lineup? I said it last year and I'll say it again, they should have/should trade him

I said it last year and I'll say it again, they should have/should trade him I agree. They should trade Malkin and use that Salary for a good 2 way winger and a solid top 4 defender.
WildCard Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 I agree. They should trade Malkin and use that Salary for a good 2 way winger and a solid top 4 defender. I feel like we could easily end up the same way if we get Stamkos

Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 Sign me up for Malkin in a Sabres uniform.

WildCard Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) They seemed to be pretty good when Malkin won the Hart with Crosby out. Maybe it's just too much on one team, and separated their teams are much more successful Edited March 21, 2016 by WildCard

Iron Crotch Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Was messing around with stats on NHL.com and the leading scorer this calendar year is Sydney Crosby with 49 points in 35 games. Joe Thornton is #2 (44 points). Evgeny Kuznetsov is #3 (40 points). Anze Kopitar is #4 (37 points). Patrick Kane is tied with Kris Letang at #5 (36 points). Eichel is a solid 40th (26 points) tied with guys like Toews, Bergeron, Kessel, Spezza and Blake Wheeler.
Brawndo Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Meanwhile in Minnesota Looks like Thomas Vanek will be a healthy scratch for the third straight game. #mnwild
That Aud Smell Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Meanwhile in Minnesota Looks like Thomas Vanek will be a healthy scratch for the third straight game. #mnwild Wait. really?
WildCard Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Isles in absolute free fall since Halak went out. Greiss has been terrible
That Aud Smell Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Meanwhile in Minnesota Looks like Thomas Vanek will be a healthy scratch for the third straight game. #mnwild Wait. really? Just for giggles - a recent #hottake from a MN Wild message board IMO WAS a huge part of the Wild's problem. He poisoned the room. Still think Parise calling him "Selke" is just harmless kidding? I don't. How could the rest of the team not resent him getting all that ice time and prime PP time and simply mailing it in game after game after game? Absolutely no accountability under Yeo. Vanek was an embarrassment to the game, the league and hockey in general. How could that NOT have a large negative impact on the roster, especially the young guys who were obviously getting screwed in the deal? I've been working for a living for a long time. A dud like that, who's lazy and gets away with it, pizzes off everyone, especially people directly affected by the laziness. I hope Vanek sits the rest of the year; that would be the best thing for the team IMO.
Brawndo Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Isles in absolute free fall since Halak went out. Greiss has been terrible Can we entice them in Johnson for their 1st?
Randall Flagg Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 The Blackhawks have been outscored 14-2 against playoff teams since March 11th.
WildCard Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 The Blackhawks have been outscored 14-2 against playoff teams since March 11th. They've been terrible down the stretch, Conversely, Anaheim and LA have been on fire. Chicago better find their game, and soon
JJFIVEOH Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Ryan Miller gonna hang them up after this season? What a miserable situation to be in. Canucks 5-12 in their last 17, lost 5 straight and have been shutout 3 straight. That team is a disaster. Not implying that he should, or this has anything to do with him....... but where do you go from here?
