I ####ing hate Chris Neil as an Ottawa Senetor. As a person, though, I would garauntee he's a good guy. Nobody stays around somewhere that long without having something to offer. And he can actually play.

Sabres pain in the ass.

Offsides challenge reverses a Kings' goal, and ###### neuters what would have been an awesome finish to an already awesome game. I'm not sure I've ever despised something this much in sports that isn't a player/owner/gm/team/towel boy

On the plus side, at least it was Lucic that thought he'd scored.

Yzerman said Drouin is welcome to return to Tampa Bay Organization.

Source tells TSN, there is no way Drouin will do so.

Drouin needs to fire his agent, or more importantly get his head out of his azz.

I'd let the little arrogant schit rot for the time being.

Way to ingratiate yourself with your peers, Jonathon. So glad we didn't make a deal for the ungrateful bastard.

GO SABRES!!!

Does he crack the top 4 players in the last ten years, with Sid/Ovi/Malkin?

That's a good, tough question. He probably deserves more respect than he gets after being in San Jose so long. I haven't put any real thought into it, though, so I'm not sure Malkin or Thornton are in my top four for the ten years. Maybe I'll give it a thought in the morning.

Yeah, that was quick off the top of my head. Didn't really go through any defenders or goalies to see if any of them could make a case, so for now I think that's what I have, those four in that order.

Anyone that curls up into the fetal position as quickly & as firmly as he does come playoff time cannot be considered that highly UNLESS the ranking is STRICTLY based on the regular season. If it is, a case can be made for his legitimacy; if not, then NO.

Is that really the case? I have seen very few Sharks playoff games over the years. Always assumed the problems were with other parts of the roster

WC, if you're reading this, get that GDT done, RJ is back!!

I agree in general. True, however, would like to have a word with you

The Joe Thornton you see in late April is a shell of what you get in January. And that's been the case from day 1 for him. (In fairness, he played w/ cracked ribs in one of his 1st (IIRC the 1st) year in the playoffs and was horrible because of it but it's never gotten better for him.)

Marleau has a similar rep, but if you watch their PO games, he's working. I'd still take Marleau. SJ doesn't have enough draft picks to send over w/ Joe for me to ever want to see him in B&G.

Well if he does, it'll likely have to wait as I believe I am going to (belatedly) quit this place for (the rest of) Lent. ;)

(Not 100% certain, but pretty sure.)

Over under on Toronto throwing a pick to TBL for Stamkos' rights in June. I'd put it at a 4.5 rounder. Discuss! :)

I'd put it at a .1, honestly. I would laugh my ass off if they gave up a 2-3 pick to trade for Stamkos, let alone just to talk to him
