Randall Flagg Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 I remember one of the Canadian teams in the west had a 12 game road trip within the past couple of seasons.
spndnchz Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Ha-ha! Winnipeg is having a "track suit night" for their game vs Buffalo. #tracksuitnight
WildCard Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Fun fact: Artemi Panarin played in the KHL last year with Kovalchuck, he had 62 points and Kovalchuck had 55.
Sabel79 Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Avatar, as in the movie? The worst movie ever made, that movie? Indeed, Space Dances with Wolves.
WildCard Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Indeed, Space Dances with Wolves. I could hug you right now
LGR4GM Posted January 7, 2016 Author Report Posted January 7, 2016 Fun fact: Artemi Panarin played in the KHL last year with Kovalchuck, he had 62 points and Kovalchuck had 55. The fact a 24 year old is still considered a rookie is kind of dumb. They should cap the age you can be a rookie at. If Eichel spent 4 years playing in Rochester he would look like jesus on ice when he hit the NHL.

shrader Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Does it? I can't remember us having one that long. If so, that's still moronic, just on an annual basis Certain arenas/cities are in higher demand than others. I can't think of any event that would come to Buffalo and require the arena for so long. The fact a 24 year old is still considered a rookie is kind of dumb. They should cap the age you can be a rookie at. thewookie1 Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) Waivers: BRANDON GORMLEY COL Anyone interested? Edited January 7, 2016 by thewookie1
LGR4GM Posted January 7, 2016 Author Report Posted January 7, 2016 Waivers: BRANDON GORMLEY COL Anyone interested? Why not.
Randall Flagg Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Is that the Gormley from Arizona? I'd try it.
Thwomp! Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 23 year old, LHD, chosen #13 overall in 2010. I'd take a flyer on him. Why not? Hasn't had much success in the NHL, but hasn't even played 60 pro games yet.
Stoner Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Waivers: BRANDON GORMLEY COL Anyone interested? The high pants. No thanks.
spndnchz Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Kassian to the Oilers for Scrivens. Little write up on a recent interview with Kassian. http://oilersnation.com/2016/1/7/a-conversation-with-zack-kassian He is playing for the farm team but seems to have his head back on straight.

I thought he was quarterbacking the Browns now.
Norcal Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Just gonna leave this here...https://twitter.com/SInow/status/685206484221845504
inkman Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Indeed, Space Dances with Wolves. I enjoyed both films. No academy awards but I was entertained. Just gonna leave this here...https://twitter.com/SInow/status/685206484221845504Man Johanson looks dorky
Sabel79 Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 Roman Polak just tried to kill Tyler Toffoli. Watching the Leafs feed. Jack Edwards would be proud of the whitewashing job. Polak quite rightly tossed out. Now a ref down after a shot to the head. This game is bizarre.
Hoss Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 San Jose's shirts today: I want to get married in one of those.
Sabel79 Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 And now, because evidently I never tire of arguing about things, I'm arguing with Laffs fans on Twitter (it started with me tweeting at Damian Cox because he's an infuriating simpleton) about whether someone wearing a Laffs jersey should be penalized for dropping his shoulder between the numbers on an opponent's back on the boards. Thank 8 lb. 6 oz. baby Jesus for beer and my four day work week... Because this could go all night.....

Polak quite rightly tossed out. Now a ref down after a shot to the head. This game is bizarre. At some point, the "hittee" needs to be held accountable for putting himself in a vulnerable position. Tiffoli knew Polak was coming, as soon as they approached the boards Tiffoli came to a dead stop and turned his back. You can't hold the hitter responsible when the other player purposely turns his back. It almost looked like Polak was trying to avoid him because he checked up and hit him while he was bent over. If he really wanted to board Tiffoli, he would have stood up and labeled him. That better not get a review from the league.

Polak, regardless of when Tofolli tuned up the boards, had ample time to decide whether he'd plant his shoulder between the numbers on the back and chose wrongly. Chickenshit play. He'll be luck not to miss a few games.
Doohicksie Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 I want to get married in one of those. I didn't notice anything different about them (I had to look up what it was.)
