Two or less Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 Shattenkirk is a UFA and wants to play on the east coast NJ is gonna have a TON of cap space next summer. Quote
Huckleberry Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 Don't want Tyson Barrie on this team ever really, but especially with what our defensemen do with this particular coach. There are guys that could flourish with what we do, I'm not prepared to give a list, but I feel that Tyson Barrie belongs on the exact opposite list. I love you, you are my tactical barometer. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 I really like Buffalo, but you all realise that it's not on the east coast, right? Maybe WildCard was not thinking about Buffalo when he posted up thread about that guy being a UFA and wanting to play on the east coast. You know, a FYI type post. Quote
zippyfeet Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 unless there is a new coach, there will be zero players that will come here Quote
Thorner Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 After the season we're having? No f'n way. unless there is a new coach, there will be zero players that will come here I feel like the Bylsma conundrum is permeating every thread, and not without reason. It's depressing. Quote
Two or less Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 unless there is a new coach, there will be zero players that will come here Except for Kyle Okposo? Cmon.. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 Except for Kyle Okposo? Cmon.. Last offseason we were seen as a team on the rise, having made a major jump in the standings. This offseason, assuming we finish in the 82 point range, we'll look like a team that has stagnated. Quote
Huckleberry Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) Don't think much will happen , he can trade Franson, Gionta , Kulikov to contenders. But I doubt we'll see a major overhaul before the deadline. Well I forgot about Kane, lets hope he puts up some more goals so teams like LA might want him. Brawndo Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 (edited) Adrian Dater is speculating that the Avs will trade Landeskog to LA for Jake Muzzin and the Kings 2017 1st Rounder. Edited January 16, 2017 by BRAWNDO Quote
3putt Posted January 17, 2017 Report Posted January 17, 2017 Last offseason we were seen as a team on the rise, having made a major jump in the standings. This offseason, assuming we finish in the 82 point range, we'll look like a team that has stagnated. Or a team that was riddled with injuries for the first quarter. I agree it will be a tough sell, but that's my spin. Quote
Brawndo Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 Rumors out of Colorado that Brandon Carlo might be available from the Bruins in a trade for Landeskog Dater first to report. Kevin Paul DuPont stated it was plausible Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 I'll be so sad if the Bruins get Landeskog. Quote

WildCard Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 Every Friedman, Dreger, and McKenzie report have said Carlo is not moving Quote
Brawndo Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 I thought Dater said he was going to LA? Is Dater the new hockey buzz? Dater is pretty connected with Sakic from his time at the Denver Post, whether he approaches Buzz Status remains to be seen Quote
Brawndo Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 Discussed on WGR this AM. There is a rumor from Fourth Period that the Flyers are interested in Evander Kane. Sabres asking price starts with Gostisbehere. Quote
WildCard Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 Hahahaha yeah good luck with that Murray Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 Kane, Nylander, 1st round pick for Provorov, Schenn :) Quote

rickshaw Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) Matt Duchene in Avs land would sure look good in a Sabres uniform. Not sure who goes the other way though. Would Sakic take Kane? Doubt it. Edited January 18, 2017 by rickshaw Quote
WildCard Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 All I hope for is Kane for a young defender Is Provorov worth more or less than Kane? I've never really watched him play Quote

I've never really watched him play We'd need to add Reinhart to that tbh. Or Nylander and our first. Provorov has ridiculously high trade value, both inherently from being a defenseman and from having a Norris-level ceiling. Quote
Brawndo Posted January 19, 2017 Report Posted January 19, 2017 Scott Burnside: It has been a pretty messy season for the Buffalo Sabres. It's clear this team, currently 15th in the Eastern Conference, isn't anywhere near as good as many of us believed it might be. Which leads us to Evander Kane. The 25-year-old has played only 32 games but is second on the team with 11 goals, so teams will be interested if Kane's in play. His off-ice issues have been well-documented, but could the Sabres afford to part with the skilled forward if there was a blue-chip defensive prospect in return? GM Tim Murray isn't afraid of the big deal and this might be the time to revisit dealing Kane, who would be a nice fit in his hometown of Vancouver. From ESPN Quote
