woods-racer Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 I'm not impartial, I would really like to see Tampa win. But I believe an injured goalie is the best Tampa player tonight. The only reason they are in this game in my opinion. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Emerick has butchered a few names tonight, including calling someone Van Riemsdyk. Quote
darksabre Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Emerick has butchered a few names tonight, including calling someone Van Riemsdyk. That's not a mistake. Trevor plays for the Hawks. Quote
woods-racer Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Emerick has butchered a few names tonight, including calling someone Van Riemsdyk. I heard him say the name but I only half pay attention to the announcers, I just thought he was talking about a player like Van Riemsdyke. Then more blah, blah blah. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 I suppose both sides have had some things let go.... This game is hugely important.... Especially for Chicago at home with the last change. I know it's a long series but if they lose tonight, they're in a little trouble Quote
woods-racer Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) Is it just me, or is Callahan not quite the player Tampa was hoping for? I thought he would have more of an impact. Edited June 9, 2015 by Woods-Racer Quote

They've not had a chance. Quote

... Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Goodness, Chicago looked totally out of it for that play. Quote
darksabre Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 I am now 100% certain that leaving injured Bishop in was intentional. Quote
woods-racer Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 I Give Callahan a knock, he gets an assist on the possible game winning goal. Never mind. Quote

I think they've settled into what this series is all about. They were nailing Blackhawks for a while, too. Seems both teams go through spurts of turning up the physical play. Quote
darksabre Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Chicago just frustrated. They couldn't get shots on at all. Injured goalie and they let him win. Quote
SwampD Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Chicago just frustrated. They couldn't get shots on at all. Injured goalie and they let him win. I'm wondering if there was some gamesmanship in that "injury". Quote
woods-racer Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Tampa is now 8 wins in 11 road games this playoff season. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Chicago looks surprisingly human in this series.... Maybe playing 4 D is catching up to them, the lightning looks quicker Quote
... Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) I'm wondering if there was some gamesmanship in that "injury".I had the same thought, but figured faking an injury during play at the net was too risky during a SCF game. Edited June 9, 2015 by SiZzlEmeIsTEr Quote
darksabre Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 I'm wondering if there was some gamesmanship in that "injury". I assume so. Maybe not from Bishop but definitely from the coaching staff. I don't know if everyone was watching the same broadcast, but my intermission after the 2nd had the talking heads basically calling Bishop a wimp and a hypochondriac. I wonder if he has a reputation... Quote
thewookie1 Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 I hope the Hawks break Tampa's necks to be honest. Tampa doesn't deserve a Cup over an original 6 team. Oh how I wish Zadorov would of pummeled Hedman when he had the chance. Burn in Hell Tampa, burn in Hell! Let's Go Hawks!!! Quote
Hawerchuk Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 I might be in the minority here, but I really CANNOT stand Doc Emerick. I hate listening to him and Eddie O. Plus Pierre is such a tool. I'm in Vegas so I cannot get HNIC and it really makes me mad. Thank god for the mute button. I think Dave Strader or any other national US announcer is way better than this crew. Huge win for the Bolts tonight! Great third period. Quote

I believe he's still the play by play guy for Orioles baseball. Quote
