Jsixspd Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 8 goals scored by Putin in one exhibition game with NHL retired stars...... almost triple-hat-trick at age 62..... that's as many as Hodgson scored all season. If available, maybe he could spark the Sabres offense this fall? :) http://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/05/vladimir-putin-russia-hockey-goals Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 In all honesty, for a 62 year old that has been in charge of one of the 3 strongest world powers...he has some skill...... I'd draft him over PA, X, and Josie...... Quote
skaught Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 Nobody wanted to offend him by defending him. Quote
Jsixspd Posted May 18, 2015 Author Report Posted May 18, 2015 He got a big ovation from the crowd..... he's more popular than Alex Rodriguez is in Yankee Stadium? - LOL Quote

Kelly the Dog Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 Eight goals is eight goals. I'd say draft him in the 6th round. Some guys are late bloomers. Plus, guys like Ovechkin would never score against us. Quote

Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 What are the odds of any last round pick playing 100 NHL games? The smart financial move would be to draft him. You'd probably sell 100,000 Sabres jerseys. The Sabres would be all over the media circuit. Putin might actually even make a visit. Baseball teams have drafted people that are ill and obviously would never play. Plus...you can talk gas and oil deals with him! It's a no-brainer Ted. Pitch Terry the idea over your Memorial Day hot dogs on the deck! Quote

Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 Was he shirtless? Yes...he got a 2 minute penalty, or else he would have had 10 goals. He then turned to the camera and said, "My satellites see you Razor"....... Quote
Marvelo Posted May 19, 2015 Report Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) Anyone who's still playing hockey at age 62 is ok in my book. Look at Obama in his weenie bicycle helmet. He's what, 51? He's a national embarrassment in everything he does. Putin is James Bond compared to this azzclown we're stuck with. The player facewashing Putin in the scrum was funny. I liked the guy shaking his head in the audience. It's a fraud and they know it. But it doesn't matter…Doesn't hurt to have Fetisov and Kamensky dishing him the puck, plus the other team afraid to intercept or cover Putin, esp. now that Fetisov is a politician. Who is the Russian player with the funny cap on his head instead of a helmet? Edited May 19, 2015 by 716 Quote
