Hoss Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 I think Forsberg maxes out as a guy that's a little below number one center but just above a number two at the level of Ryan Kesler at the height of his career. Somewhere between 75-85 points at his best and somewhere around his rookie year at his worst. What a steal for Nashville... Damn. Quote

Hey you guys want Martin Erat and a random winger for the Forsberg kid... SURE!!! That sounds great! Quote
qwksndmonster Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 Thorny on the clock, 3putt on deck, then double Flagg. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) I went through every team's roster and took my top 5 forwards and top 3 d men, from each team, and made lists until I had my top 20 of each, and then lists of my favorites left over, I'm so ready for this. If anyone wonders how I had time, it was finals week, I had days to pass time not studying. Edited May 14, 2015 by Randall Flagg Quote
qwksndmonster Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 That's how I got started on my SC dream (which I will be finishing now that I'm done with exams). Quote

JJFIVEOH Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 We've passed the elite potential phase and nobody picked Evander Kane. Quote
Cereal Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 And we've basically passed the elite potential phase. We've passed the elite potential phase and nobody picked Evander Kane. Yup. My first thought was... none of ANY of those top picks outta Edmonton (well, there's McDavid) qualify as "elite potential" hmmmm? Not disagreeing; it's just terribly sad. And of course no Sabres either (except Eichel). Quote
Thorner Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 With the 26th pick, the Tampa Bay Lightning select, out of Sodertalje SK, Anze Kopitar. Quote
WildCard Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 On a roll here boys, can we close out the first round tonight? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) I'd like Bergeron first, and Ekman-Larsson next. Hard choice between Bergeron/Voracek/Duchene for me, as well as Keith/Hedman/OEL Edited May 14, 2015 by Randall Flagg Quote
WildCard Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 Alright if TrueBlue picks I have mine ready to go. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 And I predict a burst of defensemen coming soon because the forwards are drying up a bit, with lots of great Dmen still left. Also someone has to take Lundqvist soon Quote

Hard choice between Bergeron/Voracek/Duchene for me, as well as Keith/Hedman/OEL Both guys I've been targeting for a while. Good picks. It's fitting that they were taken with my original picks. Alright if TrueBlue picks I have mine ready to go. Haha, nice try. Round 2 goes in reverse order. So Blue gets two picks, then I get two picks. Quote

Hard choice between Bergeron/Voracek/Duchene for me, as well as Keith/Hedman/OEL I cannot believe you took both of my next picks. Full disclosure: I saw this and went to bed instead of researching who to take next. Anyway, I am taking somebody who always seems to be forgotton in discussions of stud defensemen: Alex Pietrangelo. With the first pick of the second round, I am proud to select an oldie but a goodie: Pavel Datsyuk. Quote
