qwksndmonster Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Speaking of, didn't Drew (post trade) do very good for himself in any up coming contract talks? Yes he did. Good ol' Drew. Quote
MattPie Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Yes he did. Good ol' Drew. While I wouldn't sign him or anything, it's not unusual for a player to play well initially when traded. They feel like they have something to prove, or at least they're paying a ton of attention trying to learn their new surroundings. It's no different than any job in a way. He wasn't playing that well before the trade so I don't think the contract-year theory holds as much water as some think. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Drew Stafford would be a significant upgrade to the Sabres RW position. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 I don't think I like you anymore. :P Your affection for me survived a season of Ted Nolan bashing but not a half-hearted defense of Stafford? I'll be dammed. Quote

I'm thinking something that can be abused by welfare recipients just to tick off some of our more conservative brethren :p Seriously though, I'll choose by the weekend. Quote

You could always pick a big corporation. I hear they need help because their taxes are too high. Quote

And he really did seem to be trying hard for us earlier this year. He's still Drew Stafford, though. Edited April 30, 2015 by qwksndmonster Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Well he can still play a mean guitar riff..... Quote
3putt Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Man can Ovi shoot. He looks to beat the goalie on every shot instead of just being happy to put it on net. Quote
Trettioåtta Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Caps - Rags has been a good game so far. Just swapping chances - real end to end game Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Washington looks like a tough Match-up, surprising.... And ovi really has changed his game... Playoff built Quote

bunomatic Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 (edited) Ranger that got hit from behind on the winning goal used it as a strategy. Serves him right. Clearly he turned his back and braced for the hit. Coach was pissed he never got the call. Edited May 1, 2015 by bunomatic Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 I don't think that's bad officiating at the end.... They've been consistently allowing that stuff all playoff long, Rangers needed to pay attention there.... And again ovi tore them up Quote
