Sabres Fan in NS Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 I really think the Canadiens will pull this off. They are the better team, IMO. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 I think Montreal is a team besides the best goalie in the world and a Norris-calibre defenseman. It'd be a shame to watch a forward group that unskilled and uncreative in the final four. Sorry NS, wuv you!! Quote
Hoss Posted May 10, 2015 Author Report Posted May 10, 2015 We're going to get another round of Rangers hockey... How exciting. Quote

bunomatic Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 Snore...This Rangers/Caps game is puttin me to sleep Quote
Eleven Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 That game ended up being pretty great. Bad puck-over-glass call, I think, but inconsequential in the end. I'm guessing no DPS hearing for OV, too. Quote
Thorner Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 An icing call was missed on Nash's goal at the beginning of the third, but overall an exciting game. Seems to be abnormal for the Rangers lately. I think they Rags take game 7, they seem to have developed a knack for coming back from down 3-1. Quote
WildCard Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 Anaheim bounces the Cinderella story Flames to reach the WCF's where they will host the Blackhawks. That series should be incredible Quote
Kruppstahl Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 Anyone else enjoying the Stanley Cup playoff games tonight? Oh wait. There aren't any. Is it me, or is the NHL one of the worst run organizations in the history of organizations? I only say that because things like their dreadful scheduling this post season are par for the course over the last, oh, 35 years or so. Quote
inkman Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 Is it me, or is the NHL one of the worst run organizations in the history of organizations? You ain't kidding. Take a page from the NFL or NBA. I'm surprised we don't have NFL games every night during the season. (I know logistically it won't work) but they are like, "you guys want Thursday games, how bout two?) they don't around. Meanwhile the NHL is like, what's wrong with 7 games all playing at once then 5 days without games. Quote

Kruppstahl Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 I find tonight's games more entertaining than 95% of those involving the Rangers. Well, that's a problem for the NHL. Not sure they realize that though. Quote

qwksndmonster Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 (edited) I watched my nephew roll around on the floor a bunch tonight. He had a lot of compete, but couldn't quite crawl. Still more entertaining than the Rangers. Edited May 12, 2015 by qwksndmonster Quote

Still more entertaining than the Rangers. Kid's lazy. Doesn't justify his salary. Lindy wrecked him. He'll do better on a Western Conference crawling team. Darcy never should have traded for him. It's Quinn's fault. Pegula made Darcy sign him. Murray only extended the contract because Battista. Did I get a full bingo or are there more squares left? Quote

You forgot to work Derek Roy into the equation. He's always guilty of some crime. Ditto Drew Stafford. Did you have to make me cry? Sorry. Didn't mean to. Just exactly when did "compete" become a noun in the English language? I personally blame Lindy Ruff for this outrage. Quote
Cereal Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 Is it me, or is the NHL one of the worst run organizations in the history of organizations? Bette Midler concert in Tampa's arena tonight. What was the NHL to do? Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 For 1 night my bracket stays alive...... I'm bummed that I got all my work done and charting done and have no Damn hockey to watch. Of course I have to be up at 5am Wednesday so staying up tomorrow is outta the question, tho I may suck it up Quote
LTS Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 Bette Midler concert in Tampa's arena tonight. What was the NHL to do? Clearly they should have fixed the first round so this conflict would not be a conflict. Quote
