CallawaySabres Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I think these match ups and times suck. Quote
Hoss Posted April 29, 2015 Author Report Posted April 29, 2015 I think these match ups and times suck. I don't know. I think Chicago and Minnesota will be extremely fun. Montreal - Tampa would be good. The other two will likely be boring. Quote
WildCard Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Excited for the West series. I feel like both East series, regardless of tomorrow's winner, will be boring. Quote
darksabre Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I think these match ups and times suck. I agree. The first round is always awesome. This one, not so much. Quote
Cereal Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Excited for the West series. I feel like both East series, regardless of tomorrow's winner, will be boring. WAS-NYR for the fourth time in five years; WAS won in five games in 2011, NYR in seven games in 2012 (ECSF) and 2013. I recall both of those seven-game series being quite awesome, and I'm excited for this series. MTL-TB would be a rematch from last year, remember that Montreal swept. However, TB swept MTL in five regular season games this year. So that provides a little bit of a storyline. Is there a clear favorite? Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 No offense to Detroit but I hope they lose. I love watching TB in the playoffs. Also I want to see what happens when Carey Price faces one of the best offenses in the NHL. Quote
Derrico Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 (edited) I always cheer for the best Buffalo outcome and that TB/Det game is a toss up. Do I want TB to win and hope that opens up Babcock leaving the Wings or do I want Detroit to win and hope they beat Montreal next series to increase the Isles pick by one slot? Edit - I guess this should have went in the Round 1 thread. My bad. Edited April 29, 2015 by Derrico Quote
Taro T Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Well, since I missed getting my picks in the 1st round thread: Rags in 5 Bolts in 6 Ducks in 5 Hawks in 7. Quote
Hoss Posted April 30, 2015 Author Report Posted April 30, 2015 I'll add my picks: Tampa in 6 Washington in 7 Anaheim in 5 Wild in 7 Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Montreal vs new York. Anaheim vs Chicago..... Anaheim vs new York.... New york Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Rags in 6 (this pains me) Tampa in 5 Ducks in 4 Chicago in 7 Note: fancystats were not consulted for these projections, and therefore are not to blame if my 2nd round picks are as bad as my 1st round picks. Quote

MBHockey13 Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 So, I'll be in Chicago for business all next week. I am going to arrive Saturday night just so I can go to a Cubs game at Wrigley Sunday at 1:30. I can get a Blackhawks - Wild ticket for 7:30 Sunday but the cheapest actual seat is $160, which is actually cheaper than I anticipated. You can get Standing Room Only for around $110 or so but from what I'm reading, it's a waste of time. I'm really considering it. It would be pretty amazing to be in that building for a playoff game. A Cubs game at Wrigley AND a Hawks playoff game?? Dear lord man, go! I'll always spend money for great memories, and that would be an absolutely amazing day. Words cannot express how jealous I am of you right now MBH Edited April 30, 2015 by WildCard Quote

I'll always spend money for great memories, and that would be an absolutely amazing day. Words cannot express how jealous I am of you right now MBH Yeah, I think I definitely need to do it. The Cubs game was only $23 for actually a pretty good seat, and paying out of pocket for a hotel room a day early was only $80 for a Hampton Inn (I'm HHonors), which made it a no-brainer. When I saw I could do the Blackhawks game too, I just had to consider it. I mean, the Hawks ticket will cost me more than what I paid in the past year for Paul McCartney and Fleetwood Mac, but man it would be worth it. And I did just get my tax refund... Quote
Huckleberry Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 uggh still can't believe i had the canucks and jets winning their 1st round. The rest of them i was spot on though. I think ducks - flames will be nice to watch as well. hope the wild can finally keep up with the blackhawks or it will be over in 5 games. Montreal vs tampa, well i had tampa as a finalist , but it will all depend on price i think. Rangers will win from the caps in 5 games. Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 You picked the Jets to beat the Ducks? Quote
qwksndmonster Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 You picked the Jets to beat the Ducks? They had Drew Stafford. Of course he picked the Jets. Quote

woods-racer Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 He was banking on #contractyear Speaking of, didn't Drew (post trade) do very good for himself in any up coming contract talks? Quote
