Marvelo Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 Alexander Hill, the prime suspect in a quadruple killing, bizarrely gave a TV interview to Buffalo news station WGRZ-TV while he was on the lam. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/man-lam-killing-people-tv-interview-article-1.2201543 Quote

BuffalOhio Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 Isn't that actually an Adelphia-era hat? Quote
MattPie Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 Isn't that actually an Adelphia-era hat? It looks Blue with gold outline to me, so slug era (2006-09, right?), it was on the shoulders of the jerseys if I remember right. The Adelphia era would be black, silver and red. Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) No that's a modern-era hat. With the alternate B with the sword down. And the reason the hat is grey? It's a Sabres beanie you could get for free in a case of Labatt Blue. He just has the Labatt logo in the back. Source: got that hat for free in a case of Blue, then murdered four people. dudacek Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 He's a suspect. If I remember my Ted Nolan right, that's halfway between a prospect and a reject, right? Quote
darksabre Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Only killed four people? Needs more compete. Quote
Weave Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Only killed four people? Needs more compete. that only gets you a phone call with the Department of Player Safety. Quote
Huckleberry Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Dude must have really hated that logo. Too soon? I'm one of those people for whom its never to soon Quote
BuffalOhio Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 We have forgotten the word "allegedly" in all of our conversations about this "suspect." "Needs more compete." HAHAHAHAHA! If I never hear that again, THAT will be too soon. Quote
Jsixspd Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Probably a handout from the mission. Maybe the Sabres donated a bunch of hats to the homeless shelters? Quote
inkman Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Probably a handout from the mission. Maybe the Sabres donated a bunch of hats to the homeless shelters? Me thinks those free hats from Labatts found their way to many an indigent person Quote
That Aud Smell Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 No that's a modern-era hat. With the alternate B with the sword down. No foolin'? Huh. Thanks. (Although I did correctly trace its origins to the slug era, I think.) And good stuff otherwise. Quote
SwampD Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Me thinks those free hats from Labatts found their way to many an indigent person Well, I have two of them. Quote

Yeah, it was introduced in '06, as the shoulder logo for the slugs. And it's still a valid/current logo for us, but I guess we just don't wear it on anything on-ice, as we haven't worn a shoulder logo since the slug. Quote

It's worth noting that the pierced B logo goes back to 96 and the goatheads. Quote
