JJFIVEOH Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 Which series is everybody watching? I've pretty much given up on everything on TV besides sports and the occasional NatGeo or similar educational program. Right now I'm starting season 3 of House of Cards, just finished season 2 of Orange is the New Black and just started season 2 of Peaky Blinders. Any recommendations to fill the time? Quote
Redemption City Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 I just finished Daredevil. The wife and I both liked it. Quote
MBHockey13 Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 Columbo. The Rockford Files. Goon. The Last Gladiators. (The last two are FANTASTIC hockey movies.) Quote
SpaceAlbatross Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 Bloodline is a must watch, and the British version of Skins is great for anyone looking for something with Sex, Drugs, and Great TV. Quote
Kr632 Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 I have watched Breaking Bad about 4 times now. Trying to get into Walking Dead but can't for whatever reason Quote
GoPre Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 Columbo. The Rockford Files. Goon. The Last Gladiators. (The last two are FANTASTIC hockey movies.) Goon is awesome. Picked it up on DVD right away. Haven't seen The Last Gladiators. Have to surf Netflix for that one. Quote
Eleven Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 Lillyhammer, 3 seasons of awesome. I like Peaky Blinders as well. Quote

Neo Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 Breaking Bad, twice. Sublime. House of Cards, current with season 3. losing traction .... Vietnam in HD. Interesting for history/military/politics ... especially because you know the ending. The occasional movie ... Pulp Fiction last night. Recommended: Ballerina and I Hate Christian Laettner. Must see: America: Imagine the World Without Her. Quote

Rasmus_ Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 Daredevil was phenomenal. Charlie Cox, Vince D'Norfio, and Elden Nelson were awesome. It's too bad one of my more favorite characters didn't survive, but this happens. Quote

Eleven Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 (edited) LOL, I'm watching Lillyhammer's first episode now. Watch it. Important things aren't often finished in 15 minutes. 30 now. Look, I am anxious to shed my American shame. Sincerely. But all he's done so far is describe the symptoms! I will stick with it. Stick w/ Lillyhammer, too. It starts slow but once you're into the second episode, you'll be hooked. Edited April 25, 2015 by Eleven Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 I haven't personally watched it, but I've heard really good things about Weeds. Quote
Neo Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 One of the cool things about moving through life is that you reach a point where your children start bringing things to you. Role reversal, of sorts. Breaking Bad / Netflix / iEverything .... came from them. Beautiful music, wonderful photos, instant intimacy, theater ... Kids to parents. Quote
LastPommerFan Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 I haven't personally watched it, but I've heard really good things about Weeds. Still can't get my eyes and brain to agree that Mary Louise Parker is 50. Quote

JJFIVEOH Posted April 25, 2015 Author Report Posted April 25, 2015 Lillyhammer huh? I'll check it out. I haven't personally watched it, but I've heard really good things about Weeds. Good series, I watched it when it was current. The last season was kinda weak, almost like they planned to finish the series two years earlier and they just needed something to kill time. Quote
Claude_Verret Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 House of Cards, Peaky Blinders, Lillyhammer and Daredevil all excellent. Quote
