I looked up the 77 draft and it shows Seiling was drafted 14th overall and Bossy 15th. I was 5 years old so I don't really know which it was. Not trying to be a #**#, just curious if there was something different in the draft positions.

Huh. Well, I'll be. I actually heard Seiling tell the story about being drafted ahead of Bossy. You could tell it was a story he was accustomed to telling. And I swear I recall him dropping the 16/16 piece into the story. But maybe I imagined that.

Hey I think I read somewhere that #99 is retired league wide.

:P

I don't care what number Eichel takes or any other player for that matter.

It's not the number that counts, it's the man that wears the number.

I doubt #99 would be nearly as famous, or retired league-wide, had it been worn by Dave Snuggerud and not Gretzky.

That'd be cool.

I always wonder why more players don't choose 13. I think it's a great number.

I think that number is retired, T. Swift definitely retired it.

He's worn 9 (taken), 11 (retired), 15 (available) and 46 (available).

If he takes 15 he'll wear that number on draft night (2015). 15 might not TECHNICALLY be available though because Bailey wore it at camp last year.

I want him to go 15 or 96 (birth year).
