sabresith
Has their ever been a hockey star with 13? It's below 30, original, and a little edgy. Make it your own. 15 is my second choice. Please, no football or vanity numbers. Mats Sundin. My vote is for 92. He still gets to wear 9(which I think I read somewhere he does for Modano) and 2 for his draft position(which would be a chip on the shoulder kind of thing). MattPie
http://nhluniforms.com/ very cool site that shows any uniform of any team from any year back to 1917 that's cuz Biron in French means two circles Interesting, I'm just going on Google Translate for my info. "Two Circles" translates to, not surprisingly, "Deux Cercles". I suppose it could be some odd family or name thing, maybe archaic French, or maybe slang. Matt Pie @mattpi 17h17 hours ago @martybiron43 Does "Biron" really translate to "two circles" which is why you rocked the 00 early on? http://www.hockeygoalies.org/faq/numbers.html … 0 retweets 0 favorites Martin Biron @martybiron43 15h15 hours ago @mattpi "bi-round" would be dual circles. I had the number given to me when I was 16 and somebody came up with this theory years later. 11:32 PM - 21 Apr 2015 · Details

MBHockey13
I remember my friend was in youth soccer when we were kids and both him and another kid wanted # 5. So the kid was 5 and he was 05. I thought that was moronic when I was 8 and I still do.

Well, if the Rangers can retire the same number twice for different players, I'm not sure why they couldn't just both wear 5.
