Assquatch Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Anyone know who the starting ball-drawer is? Phil Kessel, but he's only got one in him and then he's spent. Quote
Stoner Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Phil Kessel, but he's only got one in him and then he's spent. I laughed, then felt bad. Quote
#freejame Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) I feel like I've been waiting a lifetime for this moment. What are the first 2 numbers we want to come out because they give us the best odds thereafter of winning? It looks like we have a ton of 1's 286 one's/Buffalo owns 56 (19.580%) 219 two's /Buffalo owns 39 (17.808%) 164 three's/Buffalo owns 39 (23.780%) 119 four's/Buffalo owns 29 (24.369%) 83 five's/Buffalo owns 15 (18.072%) 55 six's/Buffalo owns 9 (16.363%) 34 seven's/Buffalo owns 6 (17.647%) 33 eight's/Buffalo owns 4 (12.121%) 9 nine's/Buffalo owns 3 (33.333%) 4 ten's/Buffalo owns 0 (0%) I screwed up the numbers somewhere (total adds up to 1006, or 5 over), but the Sabres total appears correct. 17.14% chance with 4-5 22.222% chance with 4-6 40% chance with 4-7 28.571% chance with 4-8 22.222% chance with 4-9 16.666% chance with 4-10 33.333% chance with 4-11 0% chance with 4-12 33.333% chance with 9-10 0% with 9-11 100% with 9-12. Looks like we want four to come up. I'll try to break down four now. How much time did you spend figuring this out? Quote

French Collection Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) 1,5,11,12 which is sequence #197 at NHL.com. #1 and #97 are perfect for Connor. #1 again and combined with 5 give us '15. #11 ties into Perreault and previous Sabres luck. #12 is how many times McDavid will be an NHL all star.t It's one in thousand. Rasmus_ Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Good morning Sabrespace. Is anybody feeling lucky today? Who needs luck, Connor is on his way to Buffalo as we speak :P. He's driving his beat up pinto to Buffalo from Erie. It might take him a few months to push the thing. Quote

qwksndmonster Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Stannis Murray, our GM, told me that McDavid is ours by rights. If we lose the lottery, the heavy cavalry is coming in to protect our rights. Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 So glad this will all be over in a few short hours. I'll be out to dinner so will be checking my phone under the table for results. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Anyone but Boston. Literally, ANY ONE but Boston. That is the only way the night is a nightmare for me. Quote
Hoss Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 I woke up this morning and the lottery IMMEDIATELY popped into my head and I got nervous. This is going to be a long night. Quote
sicknfla Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) Not sure why but this is the only time I like a 20% chance. It just feels like this is our time. Also might be time for new name. I was sicknfla a few years ago when I joined and hated this team. Kind of feeling rejuvenatednfla nowadays. That is a little long though. Edited April 18, 2015 by sicknfla Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Anyone but Boston. Literally, ANY ONE but Boston. That is the only way the night is a nightmare for me. My thoughts exactly. The only reason I wanted the Bruins in the playoffs is so they didn't have any chance at McDavid. Quote
Swedesessed Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Anyone but Boston. Literally, ANY ONE but Boston. That is the only way the night is a nightmare for me. I say anyone but Boston, Toronto, or Philly Quote
Drifter Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 I have mixed feelings about Toronto getting McDavid. It would be great for McDavid and Eichel to play each other throughout their careers. On the other hand it's Toronto ugh. My gut says Coyotes will get McDavid Quote
Hoss Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 My order of desired destinations for McDavid: 1. Buffalo 2. You can stop reading now because really I just want him in Buffalo and nowhere else 102. Columbus 103. Toronto 104. Arizona 105. San Jose 106. Colorado 107. Los Angeles 108. Dallas 109. Edmonton 110. New Jersey 111. Philly 112. Florida 113. Go yourself Carolina 114. Go yourself Boston Quote
