Eleven Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Miller gets the nod tonight in game 5. Must win for Canucks. Miller has admitted he's not 100% still. Canucks in their last 13 playoff games (2-11) scoring just 24 goals Goaltending has not been an issue. Sure seems like goaltending was an issue last game. Quote

The other guy has them in a 3-1 hole and he came into the game and pitched a 30 minute shutout. Instead of trying to boost the guys for a 20% chance of winning the series, he's making excuses ahead of time for when they lose. I actually took Vancouver to make the Cup because if Miller ever is going to make it there, it WOULD be off an injury where he was well rested. He's just such a mental case that he can't even STFU for one day to give his guys some confidence. Quote

The press knowing makes no difference Quote

The press knowing makes no difference Gorges could barely walk and played a month for the Sabres. He was insulted when he would get questioned if he was injured. Give me a guy who says, "It's the playoffs....you could ductape my limbs to the goalposts and I'm ready to go." Hey....not our problem anymore. Quote

Deep breaths, it will all be okay. Quote
Hoss Posted April 24, 2015 Author Report Posted April 24, 2015 The Lightning are in serious trouble if they don't claw back here. Quote
Brawndo Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 Bishop could not catch a break on that second goal Quote
ubkev Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 Guide says the caps and islanders are on cnbc. Cnbc seems to disagree. Anyone? Anyone? Quote
ubkev Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 This is upsetting. I've got the Redwing and lighting on two TVs and the other two have some documentary on Jordan Belfort. Quote
Hoss Posted April 24, 2015 Author Report Posted April 24, 2015 The coolest thing about this playoffs so far is listening to the Detroit fans continue singing My Own Worst Enemy by Lit after it turns off. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 There is not a single bone in my body that can believe this Detroit-Tampa series. Quote
Hoss Posted April 24, 2015 Author Report Posted April 24, 2015 Tampa finally fights back... 2-2 Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 Tyler Johnson is amazing. I'm pissed we passed on him seven times. RIP thermo grade Quote
Hoss Posted April 24, 2015 Author Report Posted April 24, 2015 What a comeback by Tampa... Just shot back to life suddenly and won it in OT. Quote

... Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 Good for Nashville. That was a whacky ending to that game. Quote
... Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 Looks to me like the Canucks are in Alamo mode. Quote
Hoss Posted April 24, 2015 Author Report Posted April 24, 2015 Good game by Ryan Miller in front of the home crowd. Two more similar performances and they pull off the comeback... Still a long long road ahead. Quote
