LGR4GM Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 Ottawa reminds me of the 08-2012 Sabres. Just good enough to squeak into the playoffs but realistically not good enough to win a round. Ottawa just lacks that player or players to make them dangerous. Quote
inkman Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 of course NBC has their "A" team for the Pens v Rangers game. well I guess I will suffer some doc emerick This series has been insufferable Quote

Hoss Posted April 23, 2015 Author Report Posted April 23, 2015 This Rangers - Pens series really is boring, Ink. This game went to OT but it never felt interesting. Hopefully the Rangers just put it out of its misery in game 5. Quote
WildCard Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 St.Louis is taking it to the Wild, 3-0 in the 1st Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Some spectacular goals in both late games. Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 St.Louis is taking it to the Wild, 3-0 in the 1st Slaughtering the Wild, 6-1 Quote
WildCard Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Only saw it briefly, but does anyone else think Myers really up that last rush by the Ducks? Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Only saw it briefly, but does anyone else think Myers really ###### up that last rush by the Ducks? Yep. Should've played the pass and left the shooter to Pavelec. Jets could be cooked after that one. Quote
WildCard Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 (edited) Kesler is paying huge dividends for the Ducks. He has easily been the best player this series Edited April 23, 2015 by WildCard Quote
beerme1 Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Myers burned and cant get back into position and that is likely all. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 First sweep of the series complete..... Anaheim looks scary Good Quote
darksabre Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Wait, so a team with Tyler Myers and Drew Stafford didn't have a good playoffs? Quote
Trettioåtta Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Wait, so a team with Tyler Myers and Drew Stafford didn't have a good playoffs? I don't think the Jets had a bad playoff, games 1-3 were pretty close. The Ducks were just a whole lot better - not surprising given they dominated in the regular season and are arguably built for the playoffs Quote
That Aud Smell Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 This series has been insufferable This Rangers - Pens series really is boring, Ink. Practically unwatchable. It's been 10 years since the league did something to improve the flow of play. Now they're back to where they started, or arguably worse off. They need a commissioner with vision to implement changes that'll stick. Quote

Look at the lottery for example. They managed to change that in the wink of an eye. Quote

They were just speechless... clearly disappointed that their precious Penguins lost... didn't try to hide it... it was awkward and embarrassing. Quote

Samson's Flow Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 The league has spent over a decade selling the Penguins as the team in the East. Cuz Crosby = Championship. Obvi. Quote

Why would the league want Shittsburgh to have anything? Especially playing NY. You think they would rig it so the Rangers always win the cup. Quote
MattPie Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Why would the league want Shittsburgh to have anything? Especially playing NY. You think they would rig it so the Rangers always win the cup. Well, rotate between NY, LA, and Chicago.... hmmmm..... Quote
rickshaw Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Miller gets the nod tonight in game 5. Must win for Canucks. Miller has admitted he's not 100% still. Canucks in their last 13 playoff games (2-11) scoring just 24 goals Goaltending has not been an issue. Quote
