wjag Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 There are some real glimmers of hope on this team for next year. Quote
Doohicksie Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 WTF just happened? I grabbed a beer and the Blackhawks are ahead. I need to drink more. You're one of those guys who's "up for whatever happens," aren't you? Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 I watched/listened to the 'hawks broadcast, and they would agree that the Sabs outworked the 'hawks. They were extraordinarily complimentary towards the Sabres. Hawks casters are generally classy enough to not kick a team's teeth in when they're down. Quote
dudacek Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Bogo, Deslauriers, Foligno, Risto, Larsson, hell even Ennis. Post-deadline, pieces are looking like men. Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Felt bad for Risto who had a +2 and 3a tonight but other than that, Thank God! He's been looking real good lately. I look forward to him taking it to the next level next season. Quote
WildCard Posted April 4, 2015 Author Report Posted April 4, 2015 Bogo, Deslauriers, Foligno, Risto, Larsson, hell even Ennis. Post-deadline, pieces are looking like men. It's definitely a vastly different looking team than DR usually constructed. Quote
... Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Is it so much to ask that the 30th place team plays like a 30th place team for four more games? Word. Quote
Doohicksie Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Can we get a miracle finish by Chicago like they had in the Stanley Cup against the Bruins? Quote
WildCard Posted April 4, 2015 Author Report Posted April 4, 2015 He's been looking real good lately. I look forward to him taking it to the next level next season. I've heard d-men are like the QB's of the NHL development wise, year three is their sweet spot where you expect them to really hit their stride Quote
... Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 There are some real glimmers of hope on this team for next year. Absolutely. Next year will rock. Quote
dudacek Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 It's definitely a vastly different looking team than DR usually constructed. And we will be adding Kane and Zemgus to that list. Quote
Doohicksie Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Cody Hodgson is good at hockey. It's all a ruse I've said that for much of the season. If any single player is in on the tank, he's the one. Next year he scores 20, just watch. Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Hawks casters are generally classy enough to not kick a team's teeth in when they're down. You mean they're not like those two ass clowns in Boston? They have got to be the worst by far when it comes to trash talking the opposing teams. Quote
Doohicksie Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 I gonna have to check into alcohol rehab after this season. I'm regretting giving up alcohol for Lent. I haven't looked forward to Easter this much since I was a kid. Imagine going through the last couple of months sober. It ain't pretty. Quote
Tondas Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Bogo, Deslauriers, Foligno, Risto, Larsson, hell even Ennis. Post-deadline, pieces are looking like men. Couldn't agree more. GMTM is building a team of men who play hockey, not a team of hockey players who are men. Quote
wjag Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Nice to see a point man who can get shots through to the net. Haven't had there here for years. Quote
Fire Eater Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 You're one of those guys who's "up for whatever happens," aren't you? Nope. I'm solidly backing 30th place. But I've been kicked in the nutsack too many times by this team to get my hopes up. Quote
3putt Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 can't convince me that there was that many hawks fans at the game, cheering for hawks scores is in a word disgusting , as for the Sabres, much respect for the effort tonight, final score did not reflect the total team effort to win the gameYou are wrong as usual they are the Pittsburgh steeler fans of the NHL. Tix at the UC are scarce and pricey. Plus St Catherines was their junior affiliate for many years. Quote

Doohicksie Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Bogo was a beast tonight. The two hits in a row that led to the 4-on-4 in the third period were just awesome. Those were YOU SHALL NOT PASS hits. Quote
plenzmd1 Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 I really can't wait until I feel something for hockey again. I didn't feel bad when we were winning and I don't care that we lost. Complete apathy. I mean it. ###### the tank. ###### McEichel. ###### it all. I just want it over. I am with ya on cant wait till its over, had they won tonight i would have been there...but if you felt nothing nothing tonight...wow Quote
Nitro60 Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 There is a good, solid and aggressive young core to this team. They will not be a door mat next year. Quote
Tondas Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Think of it this way, you may have very well averted succumbing to alcoholism. Would have only lasted to the beginning of the Bills season anyway. Quote
Chris in Syracuse Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 I really wanted the W. I feel bad for the sabres. Every game is an away game. That really sucks for them. I want Mc Eichel just as much as anyone but not this horrible way. Sad state of affairs. Quote
