beerme1 Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 If you sign Stamkos you will have 7 guys for $48 mill. Bogo and Ennis are gone c Fowler will cost you $6milliom. So $54 million for 8 guys - you are probably spending $5 mill on goalies. McCabe should cost you $3.5. I've got 6 forwards , 3 d and 2 goalies coming in at$62.5 million Bailey and Fasching will also be up for contracts $3 mill each? $68 million and 13 guys signed. You better hope the cap is up to $80. Which will allow you to spend $1mill for everyone else. I've shredded bogo, Girgensons, foligno, Pysyk, ennis. Larrson. And let go of Kane. Sabres line up vesey Eichel reinhart Stamkos o'reilly Fasching ELC ELC Bailey League min for 4th line Fowler Risto McCabe ELC League min 3rd pair d Please let me know if I have something wrong Sign Campbell for 2 years find another cap team needing to unload. Don't sign Stamkos Campbell's not coming here for any less than Fowlers salary. Chicago? Yes. Dallas? Yes. Maybe St Louis or Anaheim. But no discount for us unless of course we sign Stamkos and he sees us as having a shot at winning it all. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 If Winnipeg takes Puljujarvi AND Columbus trades out of 3, I'll crap myself. But because I like fun, I'll play: Winnipeg takes Puljujarvi Columbus and Edmonton swap 3/4 for whatever. Edmonton takes Laine. Edmonton trades Hall + RNH + Nurse for Subban + Galchenyuk Columbus takes Dubois Yes, I just did what few dare to do: I went full Hockeyyinsiderr. Quote

dudacek Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 (edited) Jarmo got a snapchat from some guy in Tampere of Patty with hookers and blow that he leaked to The Jets? Seriously, if character matters Pulju is a safer choice. That's all I got. Edited June 23, 2016 by dudacek Quote
Hoss Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 Maybe Jarmo is worried about Puljujarvi's knee surgery Quote

That's all I got. There was stuff about Laine having maturity issues prior to this season, and them preventing him from capitalizing on his talent, right? If they were so prominent as to make him slide, I have to imagine that would have happened before the 11th hour unless there's something new. Maybe Jarmo is worried about Puljujarvi's knee surgery Do you know exactly what the surgery was? I admit to not having heard any specifics. Quote

Seriously, if character matters Pulju is a safer choice. That's all I got. Puljujarvi is also the more complete player. Better playmaker, better two way player. He was ranked #2 for a good amount of time. Laine is the best goal scorer in the draft. I can see a team preferring Puljujarvi though. Quote
pi2000 Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 Jarmo just said yesterday that he's not trading the 3rd pick. No way WPG doesn't take Laine. Have you all gone mad? Quote

Rasmus_ Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 Im good with staying at #8. I'm content knowing that someone pretty damn good is going to fall. Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 (edited) Well I am not as prepared as I have been in previous years, I will toss out my mock. This will not include trades because I can't predict those. 1. Toronto: Auston Matthews 2. Winnipeg: Patrik Laine 3. Columbus: Jessie Puljujarvi 4. Edmonton: Matthew Tkachuk 5. Vancouver: Pierre-luc Dubois 6. Calgary: Olli Juolevi 7. Arizona: Alex Nylander 8. Buffalo: Mikhail Sergachev 9. Montreal: Tyson Jost 10. Colorado: Logan Brown 11. New Jersey: Clayton Keller 12. Ottawa: Jakob Chychrun 13. Carolina: Charles McAvoy 14. Boston: Kiefer Bellows 15. Minnesota: Jake Bean 16. Detroit: Dante Fabbro 17. Nashville: Cody McCleod 18. Philadelphia : Max Jones 19. LGR4GM Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 Okay, I thought about something and I switched Carolina's pick with Boston's so McAvoy to Carolina and Bellows to Boston. This makes more sense in my mind and works better for both teams. Quote
Crusader1969 Posted June 23, 2016 Author Report Posted June 23, 2016 If you take D at number 8, you are still taking Dineen at 38? I think i would lean towards a winger in this scenario. 1) Boris Katchouk 2) Jordan Kyrou 3) Janne Kuokkanen Quote
Brawndo Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 For a team already not sold on him, that could be anoyer reason to trade down It's not a problem, the combine orthopod cleared him Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 Short answer is they rank below Dineen for me. I'm not concerned with who we already drafted. Quote
