Doohicksie Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Well THAT didn't go according to plan... Always gotta do it the hard way, eh, Sabres? I was glad that the players were rewarded for their work though. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 And Brady gets the ball back with 1:30 left on the clock. Bills protecting a 3 point lead.... Right on time. Quote
... Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 The only consolation is that Lindback won't appear as though he's near suicide. I like the guy and his interviews when they lose are crushing. Quote
pi2000 Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 That was like ripping off a band aid... the thought hurt worse than the actual outcome So help fellow Sabres fan get to sleep: if this team wins 2 more games they still finish 30th if they are tied with AZ in points? Correct. But, BUF has a game in hand which is Wed at home vs TOR. So its likely a 2 point advantage with 5 each left to play. Suddenly not looking so good. Quote
#freejame Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 I don't know who makes Trader Joes house brands, but the ones in the larger bottles are good, and boozy. And under $3 a bottle. Looks like we're going to need several. I think you mean Simpler Times, right? Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) Right on time. I really think he'd prefer they blow it. Edited March 31, 2015 by TrueBluePhD Quote
... Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Still functionally up 5. We got this. Talk us down, brother, I need the numbers. Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 I literally cannot imagine a worse feeling as a hockey fan. What? You don't remember the bankruptcy? The talk of moving the team? You need to chill, sir. Quote
Claude Balls Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 And Brady gets the ball back with 1:30 left on the clock. Bills protecting a 3 point lead.... This is more like the Bills kicking off to Tennessee after taking the lead in a playoff game just needing to make one tackle to secure the win. Oops!!! I feel like a Greyhound chasing that dead rabbit on the pole that you're never gonna get. Quote
dudacek Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 And Brady gets the ball back with 1:30 left on the clock. Bills protecting a 3 point lead.... Oh good. You are still out on the ledge. I was worried. Definitely the better team won tonight. Quote

TheFunPolice Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) What? You don't remember the bankruptcy? The talk of moving the team? You need to chill, sir. Honestly? I didn't care about hockey back then. I was always more of a football fan. I only really started to care about hockey once I moved to Buffalo for work (which happened to be right around the start of the Drury/Briere years) Looking at my posts in this thread I think I care a little too much. I think I'll take a break from posting until after this "tank" crap is over. It's horrible to hope your team loses and to argue with fellow fans about it and want to fight Sabres players who score or make saves. It's just awful on every level. pastajoe Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 I've accepted that the league won't let us get McDavid, but I just want to know we'll get Eichel. Otherwise all this suffering has been for nothing. Friggin Mezsaros, they couldn't give him away at the trade deadline, and now he's killing us. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Talk us down, brother, I need the numbers. It's too late and I'm too buzzed for actual numbers. Despite what happened tonight, I just think we're the worse team. Worse at possession, worse goaltending, and Ennis probably misses another game. Even if they're worse than us, the difference is miniscule, and I can't see us getting five more points than them the rest of the way. We'd have to outperform our season and they'd have to underperform at the same time. Choking this lead away would be akin to the Music City Miracle. Eerrrrrr,I was supposed to make you feel better, wasn't I? Whoops ;) Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) Being any sort of Buffalo fan is disheartening at times. These two teams always make everything difficult. The lose tonight would pretty much sealed it for Buffalo but no win a meaningless game. Down right annoying this team is Edited March 31, 2015 by SabresBillsFan Quote
matter2003 Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Nice job you jackwagons... Now with Toronto next in full give up mode, we could find ourselves only 2 points back of the Coyotes with 5 games left... Can't ever make things easy on ourselves... F@#$!! Quote
Claude Balls Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 OK, so let's pencil in a win vs Toronto. They can STILL win another and finish 30th, right? Yes, but the strength of schedule in the remaining five games is what scares me. Arizona has a much better chance of not winning another game this season. Quote
... Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Maybe this will make them overconfident, then they lose to the Leafs, affecting then emotionally and mentally for the remainder of the season, so that they can barely score a goal. Quote
Saudi Arabia Rob Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Murray can start kissing McDavid goodbye. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 The Toronto game is on April Fool's. That's fitting, right? Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 If they blow it in the remaining games I'm gonna be pissed. It will be Strome or Marner then with the third pick. Quote
rumblefish Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 What? You don't remember the bankruptcy? The talk of moving the team? You need to chill, sir. how about the time the cup got stolen by Dallas with a goal, that wasn't a goal, now that was a stab to the heart Quote
carpandean Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 I know that we say that players won't tank, but those Coyotes players are making me wonder. I thought Gagner was supposed to be fast and talented. Saw him blow two or three opportunities because he looked like he didn't care to catch up with the puck. Quote
