Derrico Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 ###### dammit. I don't remember the play, did it look like a concussion? I immediately thought concussion on the Reintharttttt play. Quote
Brawndo Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 It was a weird angle hit to the head, probable concussion though. And DB is having some fun Full-team, two-puck scrimmage with every player using an opposite-handed stick. What a way to start the second half. #Sabres Quote
WildCard Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Ennis was. Reinhart got the forearm from Buttfuglian. I think I got my concussions right. In Winnipeg? Reinhart finished that game though. Was it against Colorado? Quote
Brawndo Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 In Winnipeg? Reinhart finished that game though. Was it against Colorado? Yep it was in Denver he, one of the Avs and a linesman were all taken out on the same play Quote
Weave Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 In Winnipeg? Reinhart finished that game though. Was it against Colorado? Yep it was in Denver he, one of the Avs and a linesman were all taken out on the same play Got it from the Sabres website game log. Sabres right wing Sam Reinhart sustained an upper-body injury in a second-period collision with Avalanche forward John Mitchell and didn't return. Quote
WildCard Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 @BillHoppeNHL 1h1 hour ago Nick Deslauriers and Josh Gorges should be able to play Wednesday. Sam Reinhart is a possibility. #Sabres Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 @BillHoppeNHL 1h1 hour ago Nick Deslauriers and Josh Gorges should be able to play Wednesday. Sam Reinhart is a possibility. #Sabres  I hope that's only due to an abundance of precaution. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Ennis still not ready. Getting closer, so said Bylsma. Reinhart is apparently 'probable' for MTL. Quote
WildCard Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Ennis still not ready. Getting closer, so said Bylsma. Reinhart is apparently 'probable' for MTL. I really don't think we'll see Ennis for the rest of the year Quote
Lanny Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016  I hope that's only due to an abundance of precaution. P Ham stated on the radio yesterday that he practiced in a red jersey on Monday, but despite the jersey it appeared he was full go. Quote
dudacek Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Sounds to me like Ennis is/was likely dealing with post-concussion symptoms while Reinhart was not. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Yep. Bylsma said Ennis is working out, so there's that. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 I wonder if Sam did something to his jaw. Quote
WildCard Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) ###### yeah Buffalo Sabres @BuffaloSabres 1m1 minute ago Back to practice. All in attendance including #ROR. Reinhart full-go after no-contact yesterday. With the exception of Ennis, this is likely the most healthy we've been all year. Edited February 2, 2016 by WildCard Quote
Derrico Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Nice having Reinhart back. Can't wait for tomorrow night, feels like it's been much longer than a week off. Quote
WildCard Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Buffalo Sabres @BuffaloSabres 1h1 hour ago #Sabres lines this morning: McGinn-O'Reilly-Reinhart Girgensons-Eichel-Foligno Kane-Larsson-Gionta Moulson-Legwand-Deslauriers Buffalo Sabres @BuffaloSabres 57m 57 minutes ago Defense pairings: Ristolainen-Gorges Bogosian-Pysyk McCabe-Franson Weber-Colaiacovo 11 retweets31 likes Quote
qwksndmonster Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) I'd have Kane O'Reilly Reinhart Girgensons Eichel McGinn Foligno Larsson Gionta But I don't hate Bylsma's lines... for once. Edited February 2, 2016 by qwksndmonster Quote
WildCard Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 I'm surprised Weber got kicked out. And I'd switch Matty Mou for Foligno. No, I have absolutely no rationale behind this Quote
Randall Flagg Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 I'd have Kane O'Reilly Reinhart Girgensons Eichel McGinn Foligno Larsson Gionta But I don't hate Bylsma's lines... for once. Agreed fully. Although like WC says I'd rather find a way for Franson to sit before Weber. I'd go: Gorges - Risto (The Risto-Bogo shine wore off after a couple games) McCabe-Bogo Webs-Pysyk Quote
That Aud Smell Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Weber odd man out? But I thought Corsi? Quote
darksabre Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Weber odd man out? But I thought Corsi? This is already being discussed in another thread. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 This is already being discussed in another thread. wait - where? :P Quote
qwksndmonster Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 I'd also sit franson and roll with Weber and McCabe on the third pairing. I'm hopeful that Pysyk and Bogosian can bring out the best in one another. Well, maybe not hopeful, but curious at the possibility. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 I'd send McCabe to Rochester to get his head back on straight and roll with Weber-Franson as my 3rd pair. I'm actually fine with the forward lines, shockingly enough. Really missing Ennis though--that top-6 could use some more offensive pop. The good version of him, anyway. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 McCabe is a freebie on movement between Buffalo and Rochester? Quote
