Brawndo Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 Pysyk officially recalled from conditioning assignment per Sabres Quote
Brawndo Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 McCabe ok to go tomorrow? DB did not discuss lineup for tomorrow yet Quote
Derrico Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 DB did not discuss lineup for tomorrow yet Thanks. Also, please keep up the good work with relaying tweets and other relevant info. I don't follow much on twitter and it's good info. Appreciated. Quote
Brawndo Posted January 14, 2016 Report Posted January 14, 2016 Robin Lehner in 3 conditioning starts with the #Amerks: 1-2, 3.36 GAA, .888 save (not Dave) %. He'll be back with the #Sabres Thursday. Â Â Does Ullmark get the net until a loss, or is he back in Rochester tomorrow? Quote
WildCard Posted January 14, 2016 Report Posted January 14, 2016 Any chance we can just trade away Johnson and keep both Swedes? Quote

WildCard Posted January 14, 2016 Report Posted January 14, 2016 @BuffaloSabres  1m1 minute ago Coach Bylsma says Ennis is still week-to-week; good chance we'll see Lehner in net this weekend. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 17, 2016 Report Posted January 17, 2016 It was one game, so I'm not getting carried away saying this will clearly work, but...*if* Bogosian can play the left side like he did tonight consistently, our D corps looks a lot better:  Bogo-Risto Gorges-Pysyk McCabe-Franson  Still not ideal, but better. Time to hope tonight wasn't a flash in the pan. Quote

dudacek Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Is this the first time we've ever seen the 26/15/28 combo that always seemed to make so much sense? Â And can anyone ever remember legitimate NHL players turning into bags of overnight in consecutive seasons the way we've seen with Leino, Hodgson and Moulson? Who is going to fall off the face of the eaerth next year? Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) Hodgson never had a proven track record. He managed to lead the Sabres in scoring during one of the tank years, but that ain't sayin' much. Also... How about Staff after he signed his contract? Edited January 24, 2016 by The Big Johnson Quote

Who is going to fall off the face of the eaerth next year? Certainly not for the same team. It's pretty incredible really. Hopefully the next person to decide to do it isn't signed long term. Hodgson never had a proven track record. He managed to lead the Sabres in scoring during one of the tank years, but that ain't sayin' much. Â Also... How about Staff after he signed his contract? Hodgson had consecutive 40 point seasons. Sure he was never a key cog on a good team, but he had a track record of being an NHL player. To go from that to looking like a guy who belongs in beer league is a crazy drop. Quote

Probably wasn't even the same people who recommended each acquisition, but it sure doesn't say much for our pro scouting staff. We invested $25 million in Moulson, $25.5 million in Hodgson and $27 million in Leino.  We invest a lot of time in the minutiae of Sabre mistakes. Think about what your boss would be saying about those contracts. Edited January 24, 2016 by dudacek Quote

There were probably signs warning of this but he came back during the tank and is taking Eichel under his wing. If Jack blossoms into his potential, I won't disregard Matt's influence. Quote

Eichel could've stayed with the Giontas just as easily. Quote
#freejame Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 Not sure where to put this but the Panthers just signed Sasha Barkov to a six year 5.9 million dollar deal. Is this what we should be expecting/hoping for Risto? Quote

Kr632 Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 I haven't been able to watch many games. Does Kane look better when he is playing on a line other than Eichels or does he look about the same? Quote

Kr632 Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 He looks good on O'Reilly's wing. has Reinhart played on eichels wing at all? I know they are both rookies but I feel their games compliment eachother Quote
