Doohicksie Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Eichel and Kane are apparently building chemistry http://video.sabres.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=1372&id=904975&cmpid=sm-tw-video I didn't need that video to realize that. The last few games they've been getting good looks. Quote

Derrico Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Lehner returns to practice today. Pysyk probable return to practice after the Islanders Game Awesome. Finally. Still no word on why he was out? DDB has put a real gag order over releasing injuries. First Bogo's long, 'unexplained' absence and now this. Quote
WildCard Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Much needed good news. No idea why hockey does that Derrico, but it drives me insane. Quote
inkman Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 No idea why hockey does that Derrico, but it drives me insane.Just hockey? Football is notorious for this shiz. It all started when players injured body parts were targeted by opponents because the inury report told them exactly where to aim. Don't get me wrong, when I hear coaches say "he's got a lower body" I want to stab myself in the ear with a screwdriver. Complete the sentence. He has a lower body injury you mongoloid. Quote
WildCard Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) The NFL does this? I disagree. I always hear the exact injury of an NFL player, rather than just what half of the body it is in. Edited December 29, 2015 by WildCard Quote
Derrico Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 I don't remember it being this bad under the Ruff regime except for the playoffs. Maybe it is like this across the league now of days. Quote
Robviously Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Lehner returns to practice today. Pysyk probable return to practice after the Islanders Game I'd rather have that 1st round pick return. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 I'd rather have that 1st round pick return. Let it go. Well you got one anyways :P I was nowhere near the HarborCenter Marriott. Quote
wjag Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Not sure if this has been talked about... Seen on ice today Quote

Robviously Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Let it go. I was nowhere near the HarborCenter Marriott. Don't tell me what to do. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Well it's water under the bridge, isn't it? Nothing you can do about it, so not letting it go is simply adding unnecessary angst to your life. Quote
nfreeman Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Accurate picture of the usual decorations in the back of his net Very nice. Quote
dudacek Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 I'd rather have that 1st round pick return. Accurate picture of the usual decorations in the back of his net Lehner is really going to have to show O'Reilly-level dominance to win some people here over. Just being better than Ullmark and/or Johnson isn't going to cut it. Quote
Neo Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Lehner is really going to have to show O'Reilly-level dominance to win some people here over. Just being better than Ullmark and/or Johnson isn't going to cut it. I will be happy with quality starter and a career without concussion issues. That's what I wanted and that's the risk I saw. Quote
3putt Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Lehner is really going to have to show O'Reilly-level dominance to win some people here over. Just being better than Ullmark and/or Johnson isn't going to cut it. I think he is going to have to show a higher ceiling than White, Samsanov or Boeser. Quote
Thorner Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) I'd rather have that 1st round pick return. I feel like this will never die, reason being that who knows who Murray would have drafted with that pick, the "mystery box allurement" will remain indefinitely as there's always a chance that a pick turns into a good player. There may be a player drafted around the spot of the pick that has a substantial NHL career. But would that have been the player Murray selected? It was only ever a chance that the player he did select turned into an NHL player, and more likely that the player didn't, never mind a good one. It was a what, 25% chance at an NHL mainstay? Personally, I couldn't care less at this point, no matter what happens with Lehner. It was worth the risk. Edited December 30, 2015 by Thorny Quote
Derrico Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Let it go. I was nowhere near the HarborCenter Marriott. My kid has been watching Frozen all week and now me humming this at work is pretty embarrassing. Accurate picture of the usual decorations in the back of his net  Very nice. Quote
