Eleven Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 Vogl may have an explanation for the goalie situation tonight: John Vogl@BuffNewsVogl OK, so CBA says Hackett must play at least 30 minutes in 28 career games to remain RFA. If he finishes this one, he'll be at 22. You just HAD to say it. If the Irish blow this, I fear the wrath the poster formerly known as LPF will rain down upon you. http://forums.sabrespace.com/topic/22787-current-carrion-hockey-league-standings/?p=671639 Quote
Taro T Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 Am I crazy or did Hackett not start this game? What happened to Lindback? No word why Lindback was pulled. Getting Hackett his 30 to get him to count towards the games the Sabres need to keep his rights is a good guess. Looks like Larsson's streak of being even / + won't continue tonight. Quote
Neo Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 Can you imagine his agent watching them put him in for 30, but not giving him full games, just to change his status? Am I making something of nothing? PS ... I remember "we want 15". Quote
rumblefish Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 can't catch a break Sabres playing like HC, and ND not getting their butt kicked Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 Hodgson is hustling tonight. I wanna see a line with Hodgson, Grigo and Foligno. I think there could be some good chemistry there. Foligno is physical, Hodgson is getting more persistent on the puck and Grigorenko is learning how to use his size, plus they hall have some level of offensive touch. Quote
Claude_Verret Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 You just HAD to say it. If the Irish blow this, I fear the wrath the poster formerly known as LPF will rain down upon you. I've got a lot riding on ND myself... Quote
WanderingEye Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 Matt Ellis has had 2 point blank shots in the slot and fired wide both times. Players like him are why we suck There's no getting rid of him either. Season after season he finds his way back. 31 GP this year and 0 points. Quote
Claude Balls Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 Colorado three shots in the second period...two went in. Apparently there is NO offense without Ennis. Fugly!!! Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 Well, he played like Anders Lindback, for starters... ;) Neither 1st period goal were really on him I thought. It really came down to Colo crashing the net. Hackett on the other hand let in 2 of 3 shots he faced in the period. Quote
Hoss Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 We have Zemgus. That's like saying "I have a Charizard" when somebody says they want a holographic Charizard. Quote

Ennis, and Zemgus, and Samson, and McEichel. I really think we'll have several offensive threats next year that will really make the Sabres a multidimensional team. Quote

Taro T Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 I googled it and I still don't know wtf that is.You think that's tough to figure out. Try getting it when you've never seen the show and the response back to "what do you want for Christmas" is "zar-zar." Quote
I am Defecting Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 It helps if you imagine that they are playing at home. You hear Rick's voice raise up, a name you barely recognize, a goal horn of some sort. Fans cheering. You'd imagine we were winning. Quote
Nitro60 Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 I was at the Phlly fog game with my brother Mike. SRO top of the Orange center ice area. Moved down to the reds at the end of the 3rd. My Aunt and cousin were are ride home and they had a seat open. I Sat on the aisle and we were in the corner where Robert scored. Right in front of us. It was awesome. Best game for me, hands down. My high school buddy Ray was one of the guys skating on the ice with a sheet. Those were the days. Quote
I am Defecting Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 Wait a second, buster. Are we manipulating the roster to accommodate a certain Matt Hackett? I smell controversy. How are we going to fit a two bit hack like him onto a playoff team? That right there will be the reason we don't win the Cup next year and end up floundering near the bottom. Dang it Nolan! I was a big fan or yours before this little shenanigan, but now you've gone too fart. And I thought he was a good coach. Stupid Anna! I am kidding, teehee teehee. Quote
3putt Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 That's like saying "I have a Charizard" when somebody says they want a holographic Charizard.check the goal totals. We have the same guy but younger. Z hasnt played in a month Quote
Randall Flagg Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 Weber just crushed a guy in the corner because he tracked the puck along the boards and timed when it would get to the guy he hit, but the ref had it hit his skate and it stopped 10 feet away, so weber's check was a blatant interference but it wasn't called :P pretty funny looking Haha Meszaros! Awesome! Quote
I am Defecting Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 check the goal totals. We have the same guy but younger. Z hasnt played in a month I am a little conflicted when it comes to Z's handling. I've had hard teachers who have at the same time been supportive. They don't give things for free and make you work, but do not demean you. They stay in your head for ever, pushing you to do better. I've also had hard teachers who, if you don't toe the line, try to destroy you, and I don't think that Ted Nolan is this type, but they aren't good. Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 Messy is a scoring MACHINE tonight. Quote
