PromoTheRobot Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 "Blue-collar, hard-working" ranks right up there with "New and improved" and "All natural." Quote
kas23 Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 All this "blue-collar" crap is really holding this city back. Last time I checked, Buffalo has lost many factories and their jobs, just as most U.S. cities (especially those in the "rust belt" - another horrible stereotype). I think it's time Buffalo stepped out of the 20th century and realized that those days are gone. It's time to look toward the future. Quote
Weave Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 I suspect the team already reflects the city. Where the only way to succeed is to win the lottery. Yup. A team that reflects Buffalo isn't going to look much different than the current incarnation. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 (edited) The c-word! Yeah! Yeah! Get 'im!!!!! It really is a great word. I'm glad 11 used it in another thread to remind me of its existence. I plan on using it till I'm sick of it! Edited March 26, 2015 by TrueBluePhD Quote
woods-racer Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 I'm guessing anyone over my age (43) who isn't a basketball junkie, has no idea. Over, and what is basketball? If one needs to be a junkie is basketball some short of slang word like 8-ball? Quote
