Keeps games close (annoyingly so in the case of OT/SO's), but over the season hasn't won much.

So if the work on their special teams just a bit, they'll be looking to win a lot more games. During the game last night they said on average the Sabres give up a full goal per game on the powerplay. If you can halve that it can be the difference in winning instead of losing a lot of those one-goal games.

Personally, I would rather see them score more, rather than working on a system to give up less. Yes I would like them to win, but this game was at least fun to watch.

That should flow from their recent draft picks. But they need to work on both ends.
