biodork Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Good news is, our GDT threads are back to respectable lengths Seemingly only because the tankers are getting nervous (and no longer resigned to the CHL thread), but I appreciate the increased participation nonetheless. We may have different views on how to be a fan these days, but anyone still here at this point in a worthless season cares an awful lot about the team. Quote
carpandean Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 didn't like the result, but I will applaud the effort put in tonight Loved the result and applaud the effort. I did a crazy, freaky, throwing all four limbs in the air dance when the clock hit 0:00. Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Daryl Reaugh about coming back to beat the Sabres, "a team that's, in the back of their minds, okay with losing this one." Heheh. On balance, though, the Dallas media was pretty complimentary about the Sabres. Quote
woods-racer Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Since passing away, Dimebag has become one of the notables of Texas music, right up there with Saint Stevie Ray. For you, maybe.... :flirt: He has been christened with Saint Hood ? I love the new Pope. Quote
... Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Yeah, what did he say? I don't remember off the top of my head, I just made a mental note whenever I heard it. If my memory serves it up, I will type it in. Quote

GO SABRES!!! Quote
tallskiwallski83 Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Phew that was freaking close. Stupid sabres dont even know whats good for them. Thank you Dallas Quote
... Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) Arg, the only thing that affects me about this drive to home are the interviews with Lindback. Poor guy sounds like he's going to break down, and Hamilton is there sounding like an undertaker eager to embalm a new body. Edited March 24, 2015 by SiZzlEmIsTEr Quote
Claude Balls Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 2-14 to start the season difference? Don't be melodramatic. How did the Sabres start this season off? Don't tell me it's not possible. Arizona is 1-18 in their last 19. Not likely, but also hardly melodramatic. Quote
darksabre Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Are any of these guys going to be happy to see McEichel waltz into the locker room next year with clean cuticles and a smile on his face? Quote
biodork Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) How dare you presume I care about this team! GO SABRES!!! Lol my apologies, good sir. ;) (To be fair, I didn't specify this year's team...) Edited March 24, 2015 by biodork Quote
... Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Nolan, in sincere tones: "everyone is focused on the draft-pick, we're still trying to get these guys to compete." Quote

You are gracious, and I understand your plight of not wanting talk of tanking in GDT, and have tried to be neutral. But the highlighted part speaks volumes. Quote

Why wouldn't they? At least the ones who make the cut next season. McEichel in the locker room means the worst is over. Quote

SabresBillsFan Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 For sure. I jumped the gun a few times tonight. These last few games are like playoff games. I can't wait for this season to end...as long as the Sabres finish 30th ;-) Yeah tell me about it. I really wish Arizona can put up a win against us. I don't like our remaining schedule. Quote
Assquatch Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Are any of these guys going to be happy to see McEichel waltz into the locker room next year with clean cuticles and a smile on his face? Hell yes Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Verone seems to be fading away He was given Grigo's line and Grigo's minutes. Kinda says something. I'm not sure what it says, but it says something. I do like what we've seen out of our AHL centers; good to know we've got some measure of depth down on the farm. Quote
Claude Balls Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Who the hell schedules these games. Buffalo in Dallas tonight, just a few hours from Phoenix, but rather than play there they are coming all the way back home to play Arizona in Buffalo. Then the Sabres get to go back out west to play at Arizona...how economic. Btw, I will be doubling up my blood pressure meds for those games and will most likely be into the Valium as well. Quote
bunomatic Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Are any of these guys going to be happy to see McEichel waltz into the locker room next year with clean cuticles and a smile on his face? Hell yeah. Hodgson will break out the mini sticks to welcome him to the team. Quote
K-9 Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Are any of these guys going to be happy to see McEichel waltz into the locker room next year with clean cuticles and a smile on his face? They oughta kiss the floor he walks on if we're lucky enough to have him waltz into that room next season. I get what you're saying though. If we are lucky enough to get one of McDeichel, I think it'll take all of a few practices before everyone realizes he's the best centerman we have. There'll be a few smile then. GO SABRES!!! Quote

But the highlighted part speaks volumes. Many thanks, kind sir. I've given up my rally against tank-talk in GDTs at this point, so as long as we can all acknowledge we're fans (albeit expressing that in different manners this season), we're good. Edited March 24, 2015 by biodork Quote
