Brawndo Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 The Sabres return home after a five game road trip where they went 0-4-1. The Rangers roll into town and have decided to give Skapski his second NHL Career Start. His first was a victory over Buffalo. The Sabres line of Moulson-Larsson-Ennis combined for nine points against Toronto. Quote
Claude Balls Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 Skapski again. Well, at least Edmonton got a loser point last night. The lead for McEichel is back up to four points for the time being. Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 This should be an interesting game. We are playing a team sitting atop the East who could either destroy us or play crap hockey because they don't think they need to try. Quote
bunomatic Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 It'll be more of the same. Nothing to see here. Move along. Actually I'm interested to see if Larson is given the same opportunity. Hopefully he grabs the bull by the horns. As always, GO SABRES ! Quote
LTS Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 Lots of people will be drunk for this game. that's my bold prediction. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 I'd wager this to be one of those games that gets away from me entirely. I'm not going to listen to it at work, and I'm going to get very drunk after work. Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 Lots of people will be drunk for this game. that's my bold prediction. not me Quote
Eleven Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 Lots of people will be drunk for this game. that's my bold prediction. There is this aura of trouble downtown right now. I don't know if it's because of the parade tomorrow or what, but there's definitely something up. Many more people wandering around than is normal for a Saturday afternoon--and I mean downtown, not Allentown or Elmwood. Quote
Derrico Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 Lots of people will be drunk for this game. that's my bold prediction. I've made the trip down to buffalo and I'm drunk as a skunk. So probably lol. Quote

Moreso than an aura of trouble, do you get any sense there's ennui in the air? Quote
WildCard Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 Bogo is a Nogo tonight If it's injuries count me as worried. The best ability is availability, cliche I know but it's true. Quote

Probably smarter to have it on Sunday.. later opening times and people might work the next day. I say might because we know those truly dedicated to the blarney stone aren't thinking about Monday. not me Why do you always have to be an exception? :) Quote
biodork Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 Never has a goalie felt so comfortable in his 2nd NHL start. Quote
biodork Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 Cheapshot on deslauriers Yeah, looked like an elbow to me. Quote
3putt Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 I hope he takes someones head off. At the shoulders Off topic but Bjork is starting for the Isles Quote
rumblefish Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 the boys are stifling rangers speed so far Quote
3putt Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 Lindback on that last save you have been waiting to use that gif for awhile haven't you. Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 No, not really. I saw it recently and when Messy got messy beside the net it just seemed right. Quote
3putt Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 On the whole Barasso has looked steady. Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 I have to say, Lindback seems like he has a good knack for handling the puck; he's comfortable with it and knows where to pass it. Kind of different for Sabres goaltenders. Quote
rumblefish Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 good period, nice D, only 8 ranger shots on goal Quote
