Doohicksie Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 By the way: Anyone else notice that Stewart does that Ovechkin thing of hanging by the blue line and taking off as soon as the Sabres get possession in their own zone so he can catch the long bomb pass? Nice twist to the offense, that. Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 (edited) Yea. I really don't understand the motivation of non-tankers. Defies logic. But I always thought the purpose of the gameday thread was to focus on some positives or negatives of that single game (for the most part). A place to come to escape from the misery of the current tank, and comment on the daily state of our roster. Couldn't tell the difference between this thread and Carrion. Yeah your right I just want to get these last 20 games over with these last two years have been absolutely horrible to watch. Getting Reinhart was a start but landing one of the big two would make it alittle better. We all know the players and coaches aren't going to throw games but I'm sure Management isn't thrilled with this recent run of late. Their eyes are set on one of the big two not number 3 or 4 which possibly means a couple of more seasons before those players could step in. Edited February 28, 2015 by SabresBillsFan Quote
Randall Flagg Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Okay, this is a non-tank related question: Why isn't Stewart scratched? Seems a stupid risk to take. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 The Panthers should've scored 3 times on that last PP. Where's JJ? Shouldn't he be here rooting for every player in this game? Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Okay, this is a non-tank related question: Why isn't Stewart scratched? Seems a stupid risk to take.Because they probably don't want to call up another forward from Rochester or Murray hasn't had an offer that he likes. I don't know if Stewart gets u a first and I think that Murray might want a solid prospect instead that could be here next year. Just my guess. Quote

I would not have played him today. However, I think GMTM will trade Stewart even if it's for a 7th rounder. He wont let him walk for nothing so it's not about liking or disliking a current offer. Claude Balls Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Buffalo Sabres/Buffalo Bills.....the teams you hate to love! Quote

sicknfla Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 You just get the feeling every shot we take is going to go in and Florida could put 50 on Neuvirth and it won't matter. Quote

I know but he might not want to take the chance of him fielding offers from other teams. I think he will be moved but you never know. I think Stewart gets moved in a package deal that's just my thought. Quote

... Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 I think it's funny that with this recent apparent upswing comes an increase in Sabres penalties. Quote
Tondas Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Since when is a well executed hip check a penalty. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 I think it's funny that with this recent apparent upswing comes an increase in Sabres penalties. Different sport, but haven't the Seahawks led the NFL in penalties the last two seasons? Quote
... Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Different sport, but haven't the Seahawks led the NFL in penalties the last two seasons? I don't follow the NFL so I have no idea. Oh, shucks by golly gee, Florida ties it up. Bring on the penalties! Quote

darksabre Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Oh. Darn. Another goal against. After this winter, I want that to be me. 23 degrees and sunny here in Rochester today so I'm all aboard the Banana Boat. Quote

qwksndmonster Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 The youngins on Florida are really fun to watch. The Panthers were displaying slapstick levels of no-finish in the first half of the second. Unfortunately, they normalized. Quote
