3putt Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) I all for rebuilding the right way and icing a ###### team to draft high. It's not the only way to build a team, but I preferred it for the sabres. That being said, having zemgus have a serious injury sucks and i really wish he is okay. Seeing people instantly saying how they dont mind it or are happy about it (i dont think anyone here) because of the tank is pretty bad. IMO, that's a bit too far. When your reaction to losing our best young forward to injury is happiness, then whateverRelax we traded for a guy a day removed from surgery. The focus at the top is on next season. No one wishes any harm to Z or any player but until Nolan reads the memos all things that help the rebuild are viwed differently. I hope the xrays are negative and Z is back at it soon. But if someone throws a Forsberg at you, you counter with what's his name. It is the Buffalo way. Edited February 25, 2015 by 3puttIN Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Benoit was been playing well Quote
pi2000 Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Grigorenko is out injured so he won't be called up this week. He could be back this weekend tho. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Good for Meszaros. I didn't know he had it in him. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Leafs game maybe? That's what I was thinking, but looks like it was the game after that when the beat the Sharks 4-1. Pretty safe to say they didn't have a 3 goal lead in any of the wins since then. Quote
woods-racer Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Imagine if the goalies flip teams for this game, that's the only reason the Sabres are in this. 2 easy saves by Forsberg and at best the Sabres are tied, hate to loose McEichel over this meaningless game because CBJ goalie is a wet paper towel. My point was I think sabre fans cheering or feeling happy for the zemgus injury is too far in my opinion. Quote

Nitro60 Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 This is the first time I can truly say I am bummed that the Sabres are winning. This will really stink if this victory ends up being the reason they don't get the top draft pick. Quote
Johnny DangerFace Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Agreed  Still pro-tank, just pointed out something I saw some sabres fans not hear saying haha Quote

woods-racer Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 A back hand shot from our own blue line by McCabe and Forsburg had to struggle with the save. Quote
dudacek Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 I'm enjoying this game. Really like what I'm seeing from Pysyk. Larsson and McCabe look like they belong, Hodgson smiled for the first time since October... Quote

LGR4GM Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 it's interesting to see how much better Jake McCabe looks compared to his short stint last year. holy hell Ennis is out and won't return? Quote
dudacek Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Myers, Stafford, Gorges, Enroth, Zemgus, Ennis... this is playing right into Ted (TankBuster) Nolan's hands. Quote

Fundamentally sound in both ends and above average hands. Quote

Iron Crotch Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 We almost never score empty netters... but I think that's because we almost never have the lead at the end of games. ;) Quote
3putt Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Btw when did Horseheads relocate north of the border? Quote
Iron Crotch Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Neuvirth has played himself into a mid-round pick at the trade deadline. And, Stewart scored, which sure doesn't hurt his trade value. Murray will move them then sign them back in July. Quote
