Weave Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Only Buffalo would be more excited a player had 11 hits instead of 2 assists #Hardestworkingteaminhockey
carpandean Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 But Kane + Bogosian will almost surely get you more scoring and hitting over the next few years (and beyond, depending on re-signings) than Myers + Armia. The wild card would be Lemieux, but he's far from a guarantee to be anything significant (see Kassian, Zack.)
ddaryl Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) never mind the threads got merged and I really hate that Edited February 16, 2015 by ddaryl
LGR4GM Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Zach Bogosian teaching Zadorov and Ristolainen how to play tough nasty hockey, I'm okay with that.
Doohicksie Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) Zach Bogosian teaching Zadorov and Ristolainen how to play tough nasty hockey, I'm okay with that. It won't hurt Zadorov, but I think he already knows. That's what happens when you're raised by wolves on the tundra. Edited February 16, 2015 by Neuvirths Glove

LGR4GM Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Sorry to burst your bubble, but he was raised middle upper-class in Moscow. Look Tundra Wolves can work their way up the social ladder too and it's discrimination if people think otherwise.

ubkev Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Only Buffalo would be more excited a player had 11 hits instead of 2 assists Normally this would be me, but I really couldn't stand Tyler Myers.
LGR4GM Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 His father wolf wore a top hat and monocle. I feel like someone needs to photoshop this together, with a baby Zadorov.
dEnnis the Menace Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 That's the spirit. Bogo is not here to score. He is here to prevent the other team form scoring. Oh, and to hit everybody in sight. The lack of scoring, certainly, is an issue that needs to be addressed. THis
nfreeman Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Well, I thought Bogo looked pretty good last night. He kinda reinforced where I was on the Bogo-Myers comparison, which is that Myers' ceiling is higher, but Bogo has a pretty high ceiling too -- and at this point, there isn't much daylight between the 2 of them. Not sure I could convincingly rebut someone claiming that Bogo is better right now. When I thought that GMTM wouldn't trade Myers, I guess I didn't think there would be a defenseman like Bogo coming back.

dudacek Posted February 17, 2015 Author Report Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) My opposition to trading Myers was based on the Myers for picks and prospects trades and the gaping hole trading Myers left on our blueline for the next year. Since Murray was able to fill that hole with Bogosian, I am more than OK with trading Myers as a chip to get a better player. It's all about adding to the core. Edited February 17, 2015 by dudacek
Hoss Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Myers with an absolute rocket for his first goal as a Jet. One of the best shots of his career.
Iron Crotch Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) Drew Stafford out hurt for the Jets. Left the game in the third period. Edited February 17, 2015 by Potato
Chilly Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 I see I'm not the only one watching this EDM/WPG game. I watched hoping EDM would get points, but damn if it hasn't been entertaining.
