Ottosmagic13 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 What was that Neuvirth? I realize it's a breakaway but you don't have to make it that easy... Quote
Nitro60 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Playing loose in their own end. Can not let guys get in behind you. 2 easy goals this period. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Looks like the long NHL season has caught up to our young defenseman Quote
Hoss Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 To be fair, I predicted a 4-2 final with Ennis and Girgensons scoring. Doubt this ends up as the final score, though. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 That was a way too easy of a goal. The shot was lame but Neuvirth was horrible. He'd look better on a good team. Quote
SwampD Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 To be fair, I predicted a 4-2 final with Ennis and Girgensons scoring. Doubt this ends up as the final score, though. Link or it didn't happen. Lots o time left. ROCK'EM SABRES!!!! Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 2 goals seems to be our max output. Quote
Ottosmagic13 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) Ennis has looked good this game. The goal earlier, the Carruba Collision and now the puck retention in the offensive zone. Turning on a dime again and again leading to chances... A PP? Here comes a shorty... EDIT: How was that not boarding against Girgs? DOUBLEEDIT: I'm proved wrong.... Iron Crotch Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Myers is useless on the power play. Girgs! Quote
Nitro60 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 You could have Scotty Bowman, Punch Imlach or Toe Blake coach this team and I doubt you get better results. Seems like when pressure is on they all regress. Heck there are games recently where they checked out mentally soon after the puck drops. The chemistry is not there. It was a better effort tonight but the team still makes mental mistakes. I chalk some of this on youth but the older guys are just not cutting it. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Most goals they've scored in 10 games to bring their average up to 1.2 GPG during the losing streak. Quote
Mustache of God Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Edmonton wins in a shootout, we're tied for last! We keep this losing streak up well have the basement sealed off in no time! Quote
BuffaloBorn Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Columbus Bluejackets win.. Phili wins New York Islanders lost Colorado has a point Carolina won it Edmonton won but most importantly Buffalo LOST it has been a good day for the tank Quote
biodork Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Wait.....longtime ex......or Oklahoma ex? Maybe I missed the news while on vacation. Longtime ex (the one who introduced me to the Sabres). My friends had pointed out a group of people wearing Sabres jerseys and I was like "Hey, I know those people!!" Lol small world. Quote
Huckleberry Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) eat this OIlers fans :P Haven't seen the game, but a 4 - 3 loss is something i can live with. I want to end last, but i want players on this team that show me they belong here next year as well. Edited January 18, 2015 by Heimdall Quote

wjag Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Lost 10 straight.. 0-10-0.. The downward slope on Carp's league standing chart can be seen from space Quote

X. Benedict Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Who cares what the Islanders do? We can dream can't we? 17th pick maybe? Quote
LGR4GM Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 We can dream can't we? 17th pick maybe? Yup. I am really hoping that they get into that #5/6 spot and then have to play a superior team. Their lack of playoff experience could help us then and they could get bumped in round 1. Quote
Hoss Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Team's playing one of our biggest rivals and you still have people in this thread happy they lost. SMFH. I'm elated. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Team's playing one of our biggest rivals and you still have people in this thread happy they lost. SMFH. Sickening, isn't it? Not to mention the non-stop tank talk in GDT threads, which I thought was agreed to be left to the appropriate threads. Quote
