Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 I can't find the post, but props to the person who said expect big changes on Sabres Bowl-a-rama day, just like last year. #OneBuffalo ...... it counts! Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Packers should have gone for 2 there. Quote
Hoss Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 I've been reading a lot of posts suggesting players who played under certain coordinator may follow them. Is that a thing? Yeap. It happens quite often. We may see some former Jets follow Rex, too. I doubt it but the two biggest names connected to Ryan are Revis and Suh. Revis played for him and Suh spoke highly of him along with Ryan speaking highly of Suh. Quote
Brawndo Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Packers should have gone for 2 there. I was thinking the same thing. Quote
Hoss Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 I've heard both Roman and Trestman as potential OC's. Any chance we get Kaepernick or Cutler if we get one of those coaches? Maybe Kaep with Roman, but no thanks. The league figured him out. He has absolutely no clue how to throw anything but a fastball. Overpaid. Trestman isn't coming but Cutler and him weren't a match anyways. He benched Cutler. Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Packers should have gone for 2 there. Do the bots differentiate between a team that averages 30 points a game at home? I'm sorry...39.75 Shouldn't every team go for 2 every time? Quote
wjag Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Amazing what throws a QB with confidence makes. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 (edited) Do the bots differentiate between a team that averages 30 points a game at home? I wasn't using any stats when I made that comment, believe it or not. Was a total gut call. In any event I'm not sure how applicable team-adjusted stats would be when Rodgers is on one leg. Edit: Rodgers on one leg is leaps and bounds above every QB the Bills have had since Kelly. What an impressive drive and final throw. Edit2: to actually answer you're question, I'm almost positive they don't adjust based on team. Edited January 11, 2015 by TrueBluePhD Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Amazing what throws a QB with confidence makes. And he's horrible today. With that calf he's been using upper body and overcompensating all day. Maybe he found his efficiency now...... Good 3 games so far. For the score, Carolina was alive much of the day. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 The only one I can think of is Bart Scott with Rex Ryan Parcells was famous for it. I'd imagine it's more common for role players since they get to free agency yearly. Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 The only one I can think of is Bart Scott with Rex Ryan Hey...Jim Leonhard has followed Pettine around the league......Marvcus Patton.....it's usually the 2nd rate guys who feel synergy and don't have big money options. Parcells was famous for it. I'd imagine it's more common for role players since they get to free agency yearly. You're my work wife today..... Quote
inkman Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Tony Romo looks like a complete tool with that face mask on. Why are they calling a game played at 25 degreed "ice bowl 2"? Quote

You're my work wife today..... I have no idea how to feel about this. Why are they calling a game played at 25 degreed "ice bowl 2"? Because the broadcast is inept. Sort of like when Aikman said going for two is a coach's decision to make. Thanks Troy for that brilliant insight  Quote
Hoss Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 The only one I can think of is Bart Scott with Rex Ryan Bart Scott with Rex. Parcells brought half of his role players from Dallas to Miami. Jim Leonhard with Pettine. I'm sure if we dug there would be quite a few other options. The only talented Jets free agent that Rex might like is David Harris, but we're set at linebacker. Unless he wants Harris over Spikes. Kyle Wilson could be a depth corner. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 I have no idea what is or is not a catch anymore. I honestly just don't know. If Mike Pereira is right and that's not a catch, they need to toss the entire catch section of the rulebook into a fire and start fresh. That said, it will bring me great joy if the Cowboys just got jobbed and lose as a result. Quote
calti Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 THAT was a catch. He flipped the ball up at the end to make the catch---and he had control a the way down and never did it show the ball on the ground without his control This league is a joke. And I don't like the cowboys at all.No way do you overturn that. Quote
JujuFish Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 He knows how to beat NE. So that is a plus. He's beaten NE once in the last 5 years. Quote
calti Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 And those pansies in the booth afraid to speak up. Quote

Good overturn. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 He's beaten NE once in the last 5 years. He beat them in the playoffs too. Ball definitely shifted when it hit the ground. Wyldnwoody44 Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Idc if it was a catch or not.... Thank God they overruled it so dez can go cry back at home.... The ball hit the ground anyways, I thought it was appropriate. Now idk if Rogers will be able to go into Seattle all hobbled and pull out the same performance Quote
Taro T Posted January 11, 2015 Author Report Posted January 11, 2015 He beat them in the playoffs too. He took three steps without it moving. Three! Nope. Ball was initially bobbled. He MIGHT have taken a step as he was lunging to the endzone. Good overturn. Quote
LastPommerFan Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Brady, Wilson, Rodgers, Luck/Manning. Man the Bills have a great Defense. Quote
