Thorner Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 *exhales* I dunno, the way Kubiak is calling this half Brady might get 3 more kicks at the can. Duly noted Quote
WildCard Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Not sure what you mean, True. What is Kubiak doing? Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Could Thomas play any worse today if he tried? Quote
Thorner Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Still seems though that without a big Manning turnover, Broncos D can hold Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Not sure what you mean, True. What is Kubiak doing? Leading drives with Hillman, and Peyton operating mostly under center. Still seems though that without a big Manning turnover, Broncos D can hold They can. But with both safeties I feel less good. And can never be comfortable when Brady only needs one drive. Quote
Thorner Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 I think that if New England scores a TD, that extra point miss is going to loom large. Patriots will have to run an extremely well designed play from the 2 to pick up the two point conversion, don't see them being able to do it when Denver will probably send a ton of pressure. Brady won't be able to buy time. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Welp. Can't say this wasn't predictable. Quote
WildCard Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 @True: Could be Manning is hurt? Didn't they use that formation when Manning's foot was acting up? Quote
Thorner Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 That's a bad challenge, no way he had full possession there. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Gary Kubiak doesn't think he needs timeouts apparently. Quote
Thorner Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Gary Kubiak doesn't think he needs timeouts apparently. Pretty much this. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 @True: Could be Manning is hurt? Didn't they use that formation when Manning's foot was acting up? I dunno, maybe. I just don't understand why if his foot is hurt you'd want him taking drops instead of just standing there though. Quote
Thorner Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Ironically that false start call may have helped the Pats. Do they try the same pass on 4th after Brady doesn't convert the sneak, in which case it's Denver ball right now? Quote
WildCard Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Gronk bitching wayyyyyy too much Quote
qwksndmonster Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 I love that Gronkowski is allowed to get in the ref's face and scream at him. There's way too much whining for flags in this sport. Quote
Thorner Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Good D by Denver. New England has been unable to draw up effective offensive plays here when needed. Unusual to say the least. Quote
WildCard Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) I love that Gronkowski is allowed to get in the ref's face and scream at him. There's way too much whining for flags in this sport.Yeah that was ridiculous. Especially considering the size advantage Gronk has on Talib and the other player. He got out muscled there and it was pathetic, he should be mad at himself Edited January 24, 2016 by WildCard Quote
WildCard Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Well, Kubiak didn't play it safe there. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 I went to quote myself and deleted the post instead, but this is Brady's third kick at the can. I totally called it  Quote
inkman Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 I love that Gronkowski is allowed to get in the ref's face and scream at him. There's way too much whining for flags in this sport. What sport doesn't have too much whining over penalties? Quote
Thorner Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Well, Kubiak didn't play it safe there. Definitely the right call, with only 9 seconds till the 2 minute warning when the play was called. If NE had been kicking field goals, they would have 20 yards to set up a game winner here. Quote
WildCard Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Doesn't get more exciting than this finish Quote
inkman Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Still seems though that without a big Manning turnover, Broncos D can hold Thanks Jinxy McJinxerton Quote
