Hoss Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 But does the new team try to throw him out there right away or do they give him some time to develop/learn? With the way it went in DC, I can't see him starting anywhere in week 1 next year... well, unless there's a crazy injury scenario. I agree that he probably shouldn't but Houston may be desperate. Dallas is another common spot mentioned. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 I do think RG3 is better than Tyrod and fits the offense they'll have built so ... Hmmmmm ... Edit: well, I think RG3 WAS better than Tyrod. I have no idea how his psyche is right now and where he's at physically. Mike Shanahan still needs to be banned from the NFL for that ######. Your edit is where I'm at. If Tyrod had bombed this year I'd be in favor of taking a flyer on him, but in all honesty not a single thing since his rookie year gives any reason to think that player still exists. Quote
calti Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 RG3 is done. TT has the potential--if everything goes right -to be RussellWilson -ish. Quote
K-9 Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 Rumor has it that RG3's explosion is gone. If he can commit to becoming a pocket QB, perhaps he can salvage his career. Not quite 26, so there's a chance. But he has to get his head in the playbook, study his ass off, and learn how to read defenses, and be patient in the pocket. I hope he does. GO BILLS!!! Quote
inkman Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 RG3 is done. TT has the potential--if everything goes right -to be RussellWilson -ish. He might reach his production but I have a hard time seeing Tyrod survive 16 games every year or any year for that matter. Wilson is built like a safety or RB, Tyrod looks like Percy Harvin. Quote

Yeah Wilson is about 5 9(lets be honest) and weighs 207 or something like that.Built like a little tank. Tough to hurt him. TT at 6 ft(being generous) and 215(that's what hes listed at but I have doubts) isn't a small guy but doesn't look super sturdy. You just never know--Montana played at 180-190 and managed to stay amazingly healthy due to a ton of skill and smarts. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 I wish teams would stop giving the overhyped QBs more and more chances. Let them fade away peacefully like every other unqualified QB. I'm looking at you Tebow and Manziel. This should be the last time we ever discuss RGIII. Quote

I'm certain hockey players are measure with their equipment on. All of them look, like bean poles but almost all are listed at 200 lbs or heavier. Not to mention none of them look like their listed heights. College hoops might be the worst. Ever see Blue Chips? They added 4 inches to each player. I don't think that's too far from reality. Quote

He was everything Washington (and the NFL) dreamed of his rookie season. I have no reason to believe he wouldn't be a superstar right now if it weren't for the worst mismanagement of a franchise-changing asset in the history of professional sports.Whether he can ever get back to that we don't know. I have a feeling it's unlikely, but it's absolutely worth discussing. Sounds like Antonio Brown will not play against Denver. Big Ben likely will. Vontaze Burfict was suspended for the first three games of next season for the hit on Brown. Edited January 12, 2016 by Hoss Quote

Brawndo Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 The NFL will eventually have to realign a lot more than 1-2 teams. When they do, expect Bills to be with PIT, CLEV, (prob) CIN in AFC North Per Sal Capaccio from GR. This will happen the season after Brady's Retirement right? Quote

Hoss Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 I do think that division should be where the Bills are at. Put Baltimore in Buffalo's place. Quote
