WildCard Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Brian Hoyer is officially my favorite player. He alone is making this game entertaining. I'll be so upset if they bench him Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) Is he really that bad if a coach? He just put Watt into the game to run a draw play. It's almost literally impossible to open a hole large enough for him to run through. He said during Hard Knocks to his QBs that whoever he picks wouldn't get a quick hook...then benched him in the first game. And those are just the hilarious moments. He's horrible. I don't think so, no. He's been very good at every other step. The Texans finished with a winning record despite multiple changes at QB.Shockingly, we disagree on football  O'Brien certainly isn't the first decent college HC to fail miserably as an NFL HC. I'm not buying his time at Penn State as evidence he's good. I don't want to let KC off the hook here either, as they also suck. Kickoff return TD and 4 turnovers and only up 13 is putrid. Hoss Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Failing miserably? He's been the Texans coach for two seasons and went 9-7 both years. They were 2-14 the year before he got there and have zilch at the QB spot. Unless he on your hands while you were giving him a colonoscopy I don't think he's failed miserably. Quote
Thwomp! Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Too bad that ~60 yard run by Alex Smith didn't stand. I'm listening to it on the radio while making dinner and it sounded awesome. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 My god, does John Gruden get paid by the word? Quote
wjag Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Too bad that ~60 yard run by Alex Smith didn't stand. I'm listening to it on the radio while making dinner and it sounded awesome. Was a ballsy run. He could have stepped out, but he didn't. Hard tackle at end. Quote
JujuFish Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Just read he's their 9th head coach since 2004. Man, that seems insane; they definitely need to be mentioned in the same breath as the Browns and Bills when it comes to organizational incompetence. Three of those coaches were interim, which means Buffalo has had more non-interim head coaches if you go back to 2003. Edit: Forgot Fewell was just an interim coach as well. So, they have had the same number of non-interim coaches. Edited January 10, 2016 by JujuFish Quote
JujuFish Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Kansas City was one of the three teams who had gone longer than Buffalo has for a playoff win. Cincinnati also falls under that distinction, though it doesn't seem like they're going to break that today. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 These are some dreadful football games today. Quote
ubkev Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 These are some dreadful football games today. Because football sucks. :p Quote
Thwomp! Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Because football sucks. :p The NFL has to see how bad they can make the product before people actually realize it and stop wasting their time on it. Unfortunately they've probably got a long way to go yet. Quote
inkman Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 All this animosity between shittsburgh and cincy has me liking football again Quote
inkman Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Stay classy cincy Sorry I have no sympathy for anything shittsburgh. They can go themselves on every level. their city, their teams, their citizens, everything about them. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 I think the rednecks in Cincinnati are much worse than anything Pittsburgh. I've been to both cities.... I can relate buffalo with Pittsburgh. At least they have some teeth there Quote
SwampD Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Sorry I have no sympathy for anything . They can go ###### themselves on every level. ###### their city, ###### their teams, ###### their citizens, ###### everything about them. Yep. How was that not helmet to helmet contact on that last turnover? Oh, yeah, MFT. shittsburgh! Quote
inkman Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Yep. How was that not helmet to helmet contact on that last turnover? Oh, yeah, MFT. ###### shittsburgh! I didn't see the play, I just have no sympathy for a city that has been sooooo fortunate in the sports world. From ranking for Mario to the ref's giving them the superbowl I just have no love.I think the ###### rednecks in Cincinnati are much worse than anything Pittsburgh. I've been to both cities.... I can relate buffalo with Pittsburgh. At least they have some teeth there I have to imagine they are pretty similar type folk, it's just the ridiculous luck that shittsburgh has had makes me hate them like nothing else. Quote
SwampD Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Simms just said "acrost". Somewhere, Rob Ray is smiling. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 I hope both games suck tomorrow, I'll be scuba and I'll miss them, they kinda suck today. Quote
SwampD Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 I hope both games suck tomorrow, I'll be scuba and I'll miss them, they kinda suck today. I don't know. This is kind of a good game. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 It's gotten better, it lost some allure when big Ben got knocked out. I don't know if any of the teams are on the level of Brady/Manning. Maybe Chiefs, but that's a stretch. I just want someone to dethrone the normal crown Quote
inkman Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Jeremy hill.,,that is all Burfict, yer done. What a filthy hit. Quote
SwampD Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Jeremy hill.,,that is all Burfict, yer done. What a filthy hit. They had the game won and he gave it back to them. I don't want Pittsburgh to win but I certainly don't want Cincy to win. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Antonio Brown getting knocked out is awful for football. Just horrible. I'm sad. Quote
Claude_Verret Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 What an implosion by the Bengals. Made the Bills undisciplined penalties this year look like child's play. Idiots. Quote
