Hoss Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 First drive: Tyrod misses Sammy on a screen, gets a ball batted down behind the line and has to be rescued by Hogan on an easy INT deep. Quote
SwampD Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Ugh. I find I'm actively rooting against the Bills. I really don't like this team. "..and if we kick it through those yellow poles, we get three points,... unless it's after we score a touchdown. Don't get discouraged. I know it can be confusing." Quote
WildCard Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 The whole team just rallied around Mario after that sack. it, keep him Quote
Eleven Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 The whole team just rallied around Mario after that sack. ###### it, keep him Frankly I agree, but only if Rex is going to use him the right way. Quote
Hoss Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Oh, look! Mario made the first effort play of the entire season! He's suddenly worth $20,000,000. Quote
WildCard Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Oh, look! Mario made the first effort play of the entire season! He's suddenly worth $20,000,000.That and, you know, the rest of his career. Quote
Hoss Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) That and, you know, the rest of his career. I have absolutely zero reason to believe anything will change in Buffalo. He's talked ###### about the entire team (probably correct, but still not right) and has put in zero effort. I'm sure it's no coincidence that he finally decides to make a play the week everybody knows he's auditioning for other teams... Meanwhile... Around The NFL @AroundTheNFL Kirk Cousins opens 6-of-6 for 105 yards and 2 TDs in the first 10 minutes of the game. Edited January 3, 2016 by Hoss Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 I'm glad the real Fitzpatrick showed up today. Noodle arm on full display in the wind. Quote
WildCard Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 I'm glad the real Fitzpatrick showed up today. Noodle arm on full display in the wind.Don't worry, McKelvin is here to it up for us And now Marshall is going to destroy our backup db's Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 I don't think single covering Marshall with McKelvin and Butler is a good idea. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Anybody else find it odd that so many kickers aren't as good as they once were now that the league is cracking down on air pressure in the footballs? Quote
WildCard Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Just saw that Kelly is refusing to return to the collegiate level  EJ with his best play of the year, getting a neutral zone infraction Quote
Hoss Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Too bad Richardson never actually crossed the line. Bad call. Quote
JujuFish Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Too bad Richardson never actually crossed the line. Bad call. You don't need to cross the neutral zone, just enter it. Quote
Hoss Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) You don't need to cross the neutral zone, just enter it. Never did. (You can call a team for running up to the line if it results in a false start, but it happens almost every down when teams blitz and is never called) Edited January 3, 2016 by Hoss Quote
wjag Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) Watkins is beating Revis like a stubborn mule Impressive drive into the wind Where was this team all season? No secondary, no problem.. Edited January 3, 2016 by wjag Quote
wjag Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 No run game at all today They have 87 yards rushing through 3 quarters against a stout rush D Quote
JujuFish Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 No run game at all today It's not too surprising. The Jets have the #1 rushing defense and we're without our top 2 RBs. Quote
WildCard Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 They have 87 yards rushing through 3 quarters against a stout rush DHalf of that or more is by Taylor It's not too surprising. Eleven Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Oh, look! Mario made the first effort play of the entire season! He's suddenly worth $20,000,000. Not exactly. He is a perennial pro bowler when used correctly. This season is on Rex, not Williams. Pass coverage. Really. Quote
WildCard Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) Annndddd there's our safeties. Graham completely that up Edited January 3, 2016 by WildCard Quote
Hoss Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Not exactly. He is a perennial pro bowler when used correctly. This season is on Rex, not Williams. Pass coverage. Really. Somebody showed a breakdown of his first, I believe, four weeks. He dropped into coverage a total of nine times in that span. That's nine times to many but certainly nothing to cry about. I blame Rex for it, but Mario has been extremely unprofessional and lazy about it. The team is right up to the cap. It needs the $12.9M he will clear by being lazy somewhere else (although I wouldn't be shocked if he actually puts in effort for a coach he doesn't hate). Quote
