In all seriousness:  the Cassell trade should be a firing offense for Whaley.  And it's not like Cassell is any good.  But it is completely unacceptable for Whaley to create a situation in which the Bills were 100% dependent on EJ.  Whaley, like anyone else with functioning eyes, should have been fully aware that (i) there was a pretty good likelihood that TT would either get hurt or be ineffective and (ii) EJ has done zero in his career to make anyone comfortable in relying on him to keep the season out of the dumper in the event TT went out of the lineup.

If Whaley isn't fired within 48 hours after the season (and I still hope Brandon goes with him, btw), it really will be Darcy redux -- and you can count on the same thing happening next year.

Incompetence can't be rewarded.  Otherwise you just get more of it.

I don't think Brandon is going anywhere.  He's entrenched in both franchises.  Besides, he's a marketing guy and both teams are selling tickets and separating people from their money.  He's doing his job well.

Can't say I disagree too much. Was, rinse, repeat.

Then do it all again in 4 more years.

I think you're right that he's not going anywhere, and I think this is the wrong outcome.

You must be too young to remember Billy Joe Hobert :P

Ah yes.  Billy Joe Overthrow.  Those were the days.  Just very sad I'm relieving that now.

This topic is OLD. A NEW topic should be started unless there is a VERY SPECIFIC REASON to revive this one.
