TrueBlueGED Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 If that's the case, it's amazing he was able to finish the game. Quote
wjag Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 This league has a way of beating the jimmy legs out of running QBs. Quote

JJFIVEOH Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 I really dislike building around a running quarterback. But, Tie Rod hasn't been playing the typical role of a running quarterback, I've been impressed with how he's made staying in the pocket a priority. It's a shame he had to get hurt because there was nobody else capable of winning that game on offense, he did what he had to do. Quote
Taro T Posted October 13, 2015 Author Report Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) @JasonLaCanfora: Tyrod Taylor could miss multiple games with an MCL sprain suffered on a horse-collar tackle Sun. Bills will prepare EJ Manuel to start Sun.. Aww crap IF true, makes the signing of random backup QB make far more sense. Also gives new life to Billy Cundiff's possibility of dressing for every single team in the league before he retires. Edited October 13, 2015 by Taro T Quote

LGR4GM Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 I am excited to see EJ and what he can do. Hopefully he has gained some confidence not having to be the guy. Quote

That's what I'm hoping for too. He looked decent in preseason, and I hope he maintains that confidence and poise into this game... Quote

WildCard Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 Well, it's official (pretty much so at least) @Michael_Fabiano: Tyrod Taylor is out for Week 6 with an injured knee. EJ Manuel will start for the Bills, per NFL Network source familiar with the injury. EJ did show a ton of improvement this preseason. I mean, stranger things have happened.... Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 Maybe we'll knock Dalton out early and even the playing field a bit...... I don't feel confident in a win but I am curious to see where EJ is at Quote
WildCard Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) I still think this is a trap game for Cincy. I mean, do trap games get any more obvious than this one? Edited October 13, 2015 by WildCard Quote

I like the optimistic assessments regarding the injury and also EJ. This is the way I see it, but I view my view as wishful thinking rather than anything factual. Quote

This is the way I see it, but I view my view as wishful thinking rather than anything factual. Regarding EJ that's probably fair. But with Tyrod being able to finish the game, I'd guess the assessment of his injury is pretty accurate with a 1-3 week timetable. Quote

WildCard Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) FWIW @SalSports The plan, right now, is to wait to see how Taylor responds to rehab/treatment before knowing his status later in the week. If I had to guess I'd go with the NFL network guys and guess EJ will be starting the next two weeks Edited October 14, 2015 by WildCard Quote

That Aud Smell Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 Smoke screen. Agreed. Must be the case. Wasn't there a report yesterday that the Bengals were full-go on playing against EJ? Seems like Ryan is trying to do what he can to force the Bengals to spend at least some time preparing for Taylor. Quote
