If Matt Cassel is the answer, yoy've asked the wrong ####ing question.

That said, if they can get any of the 3 (including Cassel) to play better than Cassel, they should be playoff bound.

And before someone comes back w/ "Cassel by definition can't be better than himself," think Alex Smith. He's had 2 seasons where he was better than Alex Smith. ( And a whole lot of bleech, when he's been Alex Smith.)

In a shocking development, Gilmore is knocked out of the game making a tackle.

He is my MVP for the most over rated player.

He's not overrated when he's on the field. I don't think you can call a guy overrated after he gets injured.

EJ with the perfect throw to a wide open Charles Clay there. Big Play Clay. 67-yard TD.

If this preseason is any indication Ronald Darby was a horrible pick.

There's no reason to believe it is.

I call him over rated because he seemingly is always injured.

Sheesh..  three players already knocked out of this game and the first quarter isn't even over.  And then you can add the mysterious absence of Dareus too.

Darby hasnt looked good, but I don't think they envisioned putting him on an island against NFL starters as a rookie. With no McKelvin its baptism by fire.

Absolutely. Assuming McKelvin is out to start the year (looks like a lock), I'm sure they're going to get Darby some safety help on a regular basis.

Aaron Williams appears to be fine.

I'm not looking forward to having to give safety help to Darby consistently against guys like Luck and Brady in the first two weeks (if Brady is unsuspended).

I expect we'll need a QB to make some plays in those two games and not just the safe style of play.

I basically agree, but an elite pass rush can cover a lot of sins in the secondary. On that note, hooray for no Dareus against Luck...

Nice to see the Bills finally have a coach with some balls. Rex has confronted more refs in the first quarter of this game than any Bills head coach in the last 5 years combined.
