Sabres Fan in NS
The bleacher report is reporting that Ted Marchibroda has passed away. Wasn't he the OC for the Bills back in the Super Bowl years?

Hoss
The bleacher report is reporting that Ted Marchibroda has passed away. Wasn't he the OC for the Bills back in the Super Bowl years? Yes. Bleacher Report didn't report it, though. The Colts announced it (he was their head coach for a while). He's known as the architect of the K-Gun offense. St. Bonaventure alum. Wyldnwoody44
And they still don't OPI on Gronk. I'm done watching. That pretty much comes with the territory..... Home playoff game, they aren't calling that unless it's super blatant. Not on the cheaters anyways.
Randall Flagg
Just turned it on to watch the Chiefs' last possession. It looked like vintage Alex Smith. If that's all they have, this game will be over pretty soon. They don't call that roughing the passer on Tyrod. (Maybe they do but I hate Brady and like complaining)Come on, at least hit him harder than that if you're going to let him scramble for a score. Claude_Verret
The Pats* aren't losing at home in the playoffs. They just aren't. Denver you're our only hope.
Randall Flagg
How is no team prepared for the Brady sneak? It's what they do 100% of the time.

Put two linebackers behind the nose tackle and force him to audible or get punched in the mouth. Every friggin time they run that play. wjag
I will take a momentary break from hating the Patriots to say this: You have to admire how consistently good the Patriots are. They just don't make mistakes. Brady continues to demonstrate that he is the greatest QB of all time and the distance to second place is continuously widening. Now I will go back to hating the Patriots Edited January 16, 2016 by wjag

wjag
Gronkowski is an incredible talent. You know they are going to throw it to him and you still can't stop it.
TrueBlueGED
Alex Smith is useless. I don't know how anyone could ever want, or feel comfortable with, him as their team's quarterback.

All true, and they'd still be consistently good to great if they didn't cheat. But since they have my admiration is diminished.
TrueBlueGED
On the bright side, Doug "top candidate" Marrone once again strikes out on head coaching gigs. That's my source of football happiness for the day since the Pats are cruising.
darksabre
Theory: If Belichick doesn't have to game plan against the K-Gun in Super Bowl XXV, he doesn't learn about Jim Kelly's style, and doesn't end up learning the tools he would eventually employ with Brady. TrueBlueGED
This is a perfect example of why at least some threat of a vertical passing game is necessary. The Pats are just able to sit on everything underneath. KC offense completely broken without Maclin.
