JJFIVEOH Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Apparently Myers DOES NOT make a difference.....as some have referred to. Unless he is in on the tank!!! Pretty good 2nd period. Quote
LGR4GM Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Grigorenko been one of the reasons im still up, and not because im a fanboy :P it's because of that Viagra you took isn't it? Quote
Eleven Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 This team is horrible. The opponent is horrible. This is unwatchable. This isn't NHL hockey. It's a bunch of guys poking a puck around. Quote
Huckleberry Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Varone just doesn't have the body to play in the NHL. Quote
LGR4GM Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 if they gave Deslauriers and Grigorenko a real winger (not Coy Hogson) they might actually be a decent line as far as the Sabres lines go. Quote
Stoner Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 This team is horrible. The opponent is horrible. This is unwatchable. This isn't NHL hockey. It's a bunch of guys poking a puck around. One Christmas my parents thought it would be fun to try the board hockey game we got. It looked something like this. Seriously, where's Dan? Quote
WildCard Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 41. We have 41 more of these to watch Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 This team is horrible. The opponent is horrible. This is unwatchable. This isn't NHL hockey. It's a bunch of guys poking a puck around. At least there was a fight Quote
Nitro60 Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Stop pulling the goalie. Sabres man advantage is terrible on the PP. You know it is almost an automatic goal. Who ever is coaching the PP/man advantage has their work cut out for them. These guys are making too many errors. Quote
biodork Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Ugh. At least Nolan hadn't given up. Quote
darksabre Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 I'd like to see Zadorov take the puck coast to coast more often. Quote
Nitro60 Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Since the 4 game winning streak in mid December the Sabres have been out scored 45 to 17 in 10 games. That is pathetic. Quote

Huckleberry Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Varone just doesn't have the body to play in the NHL. Don't get me wrong i like the kid, but he needs to talk to gionta. Can't stop watching that one timer from grigs though, its one of the best things i have seen someone do on this team for over a month. Quote
Stoner Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Hoobatank How long have you had that one ready? Quote

Andrew Amerk Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Ugh. At least Nolan hadn't given up. Then he should've laced em up and went out there. Quote
WildCard Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 That as#-jacket would represent this dismal season  Hahaha this was great :clapping: Afraid this went over my head. Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Now we have to root for Carolina to win tonight and beat us this way they can overtake us so we can be back in the spot we should be all along. This team needs offense. McDavid or Eichel would help generate scoring for years to come. Tank on baby. I hate to say this but I wish we were already done with this season. It's painful to watch but it will be so worth it if we land one of the big two. Quote

WildCard Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 It was more the "oh, God" part. Ah gotcha. Reminds me of this Quote
dudacek Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) The thing about Grigorenko's goal that is impressive is that it is a true one-timer. That isn't something we see from the Sabres... ever. He was scoring those in the minors and setting himself up for those up here. It's just that up until now, no one had ever given him the puck. Man this game is boring after watching the juniors tourney. Exactly what I was thinking. Did anyone skate hard? if they gave Deslauriers and Grigorenko a real winger (not Coy Hogson) they might actually be a decent line as far as the Sabres lines go. Hog-son is a good name for him lately. I know Teddy has asked him to shoot more, but I can't count the number of times he's shot or carried when he could and should have moved the puck to Grigorenko. Get Grigs off his line. Please. One Christmas my parents thought it would be fun to try the board hockey game we got. It looked something like this. Was this the Myers Hodgson Stafford line? I'd like to see Zadorov take the puck coast to coast more often. He was bad tonight. Maybe a little too much vodka and Valentina last night Edited January 7, 2015 by dudacek Quote
