SABRES 0311 Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 Rangers have won nine of their last ten while the Sabres are coming off an embarrassing shutout at home to Florida last night. Enroth likely to start. Hopefully he fares better against Lundqvist who has a .913 SV% on the season. Meanwhile the Sabres have been outscored 12 to 3 on a three game losing streak. Quote

SABRES 0311 Posted January 3, 2015 Author Report Posted January 3, 2015 Man I hope it's not an indication of how the game is gonna go. Quote
Mustache of God Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 Tried to grab tickets to this earlier in the week but the cheapest seats were $135 and those were for single seats only. If my buddy and I were to split a pair it would been $250 each. Sorry Sabres, I'll be watching from a bar. Quote
wjag Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 My fearless prediction for the game today. Buffalo gets the first goal, with a blue line leaker and Rangers get the next six. Quote

Robviously Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 We're going to win tonight. Sabres are due for a completely inexplicable win. Quote
X. Benedict Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 We're going to win tonight. Sabres are due for a completely inexplicable win. Help us, InexplicableWan-Kenobi, our only hope. Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 We're going to win tonight. Sabres are due for a completely inexplicable win. The saddest thing.... the Sabres have not been the favorite in ANY game this year...... not 1 time, even on a home winning streak. I'm not sure if that has ever happened in a sport with 80+ games if they keep it up. Quote

Probably not but they had some crazy money lines that they hit on. Quote
Hoss Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 @BuffNewsVogl: The Sabres' Michal Neuvirth will start in goal for second straight night, while Andrej Meszaros will play. Ted Nolan didn't say who sits. Enroth hurt? Showcasing a trade? "Hot hand"? Quote

Hoss Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 Playing the same goalie on a back to back is dumb. Nolan's obviously in on the tank :P That's why I think it's somewhat notable. It's not like Neuvirth was great yesterday. Good numbers, but he didn't really seem to have to do much to get those numbers. Quote
Norcal Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 Nolan felt Neuvirth kept em in the game last night, probably throwing him a bone. Tank on... Quote
Hoss Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 Nolan felt Neuvirth kept em in the game last night, probably throwing him a bone. Tank on... "Here buddy thanks for last night. To return the favor you get to play the hottest team in the NHL the night after facing another team in another city." Quote
Norcal Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 "Here buddy thanks for last night. To return the favor you get to play the hottest team in the NHL the night after facing another team in another city." Yeah, something like that Quote

Probably not but they had some crazy money lines that they hit on. Good question.... You'd actually be up $140.......and if you churned almost 4K through a Vegas window, you'd get comped 2 nice buffet dinners. Not bad for a season of tanking. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 May sporting a bow tie for tonight's game. Good look for him. Quote
biodork Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 May sporting a bow tie for tonight's game. Good look for him. Lol was just going to comment on that. Going old school tonight! Kinda surprised to hear so much cheering for the NYPD after recent events. Better than boos. Anthem chorus was a nice change of pace... liked it! Quote
