Claude Balls Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Hopefully the Bills will follow suit and waive their Hackett!! Quote
BuffaloBorn Posted December 30, 2014 Author Report Posted December 30, 2014 watch him get claimed by the oilers Quote
Hoss Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 watch him get claimed by the oilers Nobody is going to claim him. He may not be playing at full health for a few more months. They'd then have to turn around and waive him to get him to the AHL. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 I sort of don't care much about Hackett. I don't think he has a future with this club given the number of goaltending prospects we have. Quote
K-9 Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 I don't know. I was hoping he could man the turret for a few games until Enroth cooled off. GO SABRES!!! Quote

We have a good number of goalie prospects, but we don't really have a top goalie prospect, with the possible exception of Ullmark, who has mostly sucked this year. Quote

I figure one of the young guys (Ullmark, Makarov, Liewen, Johansson) will separate himself from the group. And, Enroth and Neuvirth are both young. Someone has to be the odd man out. I figure that is Hackett at current. Quote
inkman Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Makarov had been the only one I've seen with a NHL future Quote
Huckleberry Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Makarov had been the only one I've seen with a NHL future Was just about to say the same, Ullmark isn't having a good season. Lieuwen is sucking as well, and johansson i don't know much about. Quote

apuszczalowski Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Weren't they going to unload one of the 2 up with the big club in order to get him playing time so they don't lose him because of the clause in his contract? Guess they really don't have to worry about the demand for him leaving for a new team...... Quote

They won't worry about him getting picked up on waivers because he hasn't been healthy for months and isnt expected to be for a bit longer... Quote
