SwampD Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 I may just start smoking so I have a reason to watch these gawd dam commercials. Quote
Nitro60 Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) Haha good guy but not all there. Meanwhile our PP is a total embarrassment. PP is pee pee for a long time....3 seasons and counting. Edited December 30, 2014 by Nitro60 Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 I may just start smoking so I have a reason to watch these gawd dam commercials. Then they play the beer commercial next which is an entirely different message Quote
inkman Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 PP is pee pee for a long time....3 seasons and counting. It's. the. Players. Quote
SwampD Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 It's. the. Players. And now way has it been bad for only 3 seasons. Quote
Nitro60 Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Too lax in your own end tonight. Quote
darksabre Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Good on Cody giving the refs a little more work to do. They couldn't be bothered the rest of the game. Quote
SwampD Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 So, what was the penalty on Zadorov? Even that was weak. Quote
Nitro60 Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 And now way has it been bad for only 3 seasons. They were tied for 15th in PP in 2011-2012. 9th the year before. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 This team DESPERATELY needs an offensive star. Why the hell does Edmonton have to be such a tire fire... Quote
biodork Posted December 30, 2014 Author Report Posted December 30, 2014 Good on Cody giving the refs a little more work to do. They couldn't be bothered the rest of the game. No kidding. Quite the bear hug the ref put on him. Quote
LastPommerFan Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 They were tied for 15th in PP in 2011-2012. 9th the year before. Everything fell apart after they traded Goose. Faceoffs man, faceoffs. just ask TBPhD Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 We lost because we were the worst team but those refs were terrible. Good job Cody for given the senators a goodbye present. I love this teams passion, just need more talent. Quote
Tondas Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 This team DESPERATELY needs an offensive star. Why the hell does Edmonton have to be such a tire fire... Amen. And the Oil traded for Derek Roy today. smh Quote
SwampD Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 They were tied for 15th in PP in 2011-2012. 9th the year before. But when they really needed a goal, their PP was 29th and 27th respectively. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 So, what was the penalty on Zadorov? Even that was weak. Zadorov two minutes for being a bada$$ Quote
dudacek Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Young team makes mistakes, folds late. Expected to see more of that this year than we actually have. Quote
bunomatic Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 I don't like to complain about officiating because its usually pretty even and it is a tough job but tonight something was off. Quote
Nitro60 Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 But when they really needed a goal, their PP was 29th and 27th respectively. That goes for most teams. Quote
SwampD Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Again, what was the penalty on Zadorov? The Ottawa player puts his arm out to hold him back and the their feet get tangled. That's an awful call. Refs were bad tonight. The Sabres forwards were pretty bad defensively tonight, but we actually had some possession time which made it somewhat entertaining. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Not having Risto and Myers obviously hurt in this one. ...and our zone entries were terrible for the most part. Quote
... Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 They're still not over making merry. Too many cookies and eggnog. Ottawa was smart for playing their number one goalie - gives them better odds. Quote
nfreeman Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Nikita is the best bodychecker we've had since Mike Peca, and the best while skating backwards since Mike Ramsey. He's been so impressive tonight. Watching him and Pysyk and knowing Risto is coming back, I'm actually starting to be OK with trading Myers if the price is right. (I'd still rather have those four and Gorges as a championship D) I think Nikita may have moved into my "not for sale" group tonight. He was the best Sabre on the ice. Also, McKee was a very good bodychecker that overlapped with Peca but was still here for a few years after Peca was traded. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Get it right, it's Bentwat. Oops!! Lol Quote
