Hoss Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 We're good at the skills competition. Quote
Kelly the Dog Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 Enroth is 20 for 21 in shootouts? Quote
sicknfla Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 Nice win but for everything Girgs is I am afraid Grigo isn't. Not impressed with his play whatsoever. Quote
darksabre Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 Enroth's shootout numbers are improbable. Â Quote
Jeanbe Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 As my phone rings off the hook from that damn nuisance Islanders fan my younger brother , I am enjoying me some world junior action. Let it ring, let it ring. Â Time to call him back and ask what's up? LOL Quote
Johnny DangerFace Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 Nice win but for everything Girgs is I am afraid Grigo isn't. Not impressed with his play whatsoever. Â Well he is 20! Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 I love Sabres hockey. Fun to watch again. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 Nice win but for everything Girgs is I am afraid Grigo isn't. Not impressed with his play whatsoever. 50% hit rate on draft picks is probably about right Quote
Nitro60 Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 Well that was unexpected. I think most of us thought it was game over at 3-0. I know I did. These young guys are not like other recent Sabres squads. They might have had Roy, Pommer and Vanek but they did not have the heart and the drive these young bucks do. Quote

Tondas Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 Maybe there is a culture change going on with the Sabres (unlike the other Buffalo "professional" team). Â agree. Not sure what his deal is. Girgs is much better. And Girgs is clutch. Can't teach that. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 Deslauriers was the Number One Star in that game for me. He was one of the few Sabres that hustled the entire game. Glad to see him rewarded with a goal. That line produced two of the three regulation goals. Hmmmmm. Quote
Hoss Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 5-15-1 (11 pts in 21 games) against starting goalies and 9-4-2 (20 pts in 15 games) against backups. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 Grigorenko still has much to learn. Patience, he will take longer to make an impact. Zemgus is the exception, Mikhail is the rule. Quote

He's the kind of player this team needs for its soul. Quote

5-15-1 (11 pts in 21 games) against starting goalies and 9-4-2 (20 pts in 15 games) against backups. Halak was injured but yes we Need to remember that beating backup goalies is skewing things. bob_sauve28 Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 I bet Drew Stafford gets signed again Quote
Tondas Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 Comeback even more impressive with Risto gone for the 3rd. Quote
