I think you're seeing what you want to see, something we're all guilty of at one time or another. He doesn't look too out of place but I can't say he's elevating the play of others around him.

SUNY Brockport's Dept of Meteorology used to calculate a "Dismality Index" for cities of the United States; which is the ratio of actual sunshine to possible sunshine. Perhaps they still do? The point being - the Rochester Area was Numero Uno in that regard; the most dismal. :)
