darksabre Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 High glove side is a weakness for Sabres goalies. That was Miller's weak spot. Detroit got a gift penalty. That had less to do with the weak glove as it does with Neuvirth's lateral speed. He just wasn't there. Not sure it was his fault anyway. Gorges was down too low. Quote
inkman Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 Sometimes nature's cycles prevent the "slide with pride". Nothing wrong with parting the red sea Quote
rumblefish Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 this is good learning experience for the new kids at this level, but probably is going to be a painful one Quote
Nitro60 Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 PK has tried but they are getting out classed. Quote
darksabre Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 Waaay too deep in the crease on that one. Neuvirth looks like sh*t. Quote
SwampD Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 As much as I love the over the glass rule (because there is no subjectivity), I funking HATE the slashing rule. Just because a stick breaks, doesn't mean it's slashing. Quote
wjag Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 yikes.. the wheels have come off the bus. Getting outshot 3-1 was going to come back and bite them and it did. Quote
... Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 Again, Detroit's possession game is winning this for them. Quote
dudacek Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 Damn, we miss Myers on the PK. Quote
Stoner Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 Wings fans singing We Will Rock You after the piped-in music stopped was pretty cool. Wings seem to always lead the league in funky player names. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 It's a thumb Thanks. Musta been one hell of a break to be month-to-month. He didn't see to be in pain going to the locker room. Quote

Not sure it was his fault anyway. Gorges was down too low. Watch the way he plays. He holds the glove too low. His lateral movement is average and it showed. Quote

inkman Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 Talk about a major collapse. The Sabres were outplayed all game Quote
SwampD Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 Talk about a major collapse. Totally. The Wings were awful in the first two periods. Quote
... Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 Apparently there's a warm fire with a kettle of Christmas punch in the penalty box that is just irresistible. Quote
rumblefish Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 redwings 4 for 6 on power play, is a killer Quote
wjag Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 yikes, they have a two goal lead in this game.... Quote
darksabre Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 Number two for Gorges on the exact same play. He needs to be closer to the circle. Quote
bunomatic Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 That sukcs. I'm out. Good night all. Merry Christmas ! Quote
